Aaahhh...I need help!!! How do I get the discount?? I followed the above advice (Rebecca Minkoff), but I don't see the 30% under the search bar. How do I know if I wil get the discount?? And can it be used in conjunction with the 10% Ebay coupon??? Thanks so much...

they can be used together. Use the live.com search bar and type "used ipod" then once you see the % amount on ebay click the link. Once you're in ebay from the link you can then search anything you want. You can go to any auction and hit buy it now. You will get the green banner telling you how much back before you finalize your purchase so you can then just cancel and search for whatever else you want.

I think so. I finally found the auction I wanted with the cash back offer when I typed in words to do a very general search. I typed in bowler because I was searching for a Chanel Bowler. Then I clicked on the link to ebay that had the cash back symbol by it...not all the links that pop up have it. I was able to find the auction that way and it gave me the cash back.

It took awhile to figure out, but if you fiddle with it, you'll get it!

Good to know that once I'm on ebay I don't have to start all over at the live.com search engine.

OK...so do I need to make a microsoft account?? when do I do that?? I just hit BIN for some sunglasses..and unsure what to do next!!

too late. you need to have an account first and then do the search from the live.com link

Did you see the green banner? You need to have a live.com account.

I had not had any luck trying to use the cashback feature so I acutally have not purchased anything on *bay since August. I did follow someones link and was able to do a search, but none of the items I found had a cashback icon.

Do sellers have to add this as an option? I know I have seen posts of folks telling buyers to make certain they see the icon. I looked again today in the catagory and I saw one item that had a banner on the posting about the cashback, but none of the others I saw made mention.

There is something I am interested in that I tried and failed to get from Saks for the sale. Even though the person bought it on the sale last week at Saks they are asking over two times the sale price so I won't feel as bad buying it from them if I get the casback.

No, it's not something sellers can add as an option. It should just show up automatically if you do the live.com search, but if the seller uses a third-party checkout (like google or auctiva), you won't be eligible for the cash back. If you click "buy it now," before you confirm, it should show you whether or not you will get cash back, and how much.
