Default QUESTION: eBay's LIVE.COM cash back?

Pay with PayPal, claim your cashback with Microsoft and get it in 60 days. See conditions

My question is: DO THEY SEND A CHECK OR CREDIT IT TO OUR PAYPAL ACCOUNTS?

You have three options

1. Payment to your paypal account
2. Direct transfer to your bank account
3. Check mailed to you

Sorry for bumping this... but I just signed up for my cashback and live.com account. I paid for my item through paypal and got the confirmation email back that I qualified for money back, but it's not appering on my cashback account. Does it take a while for it to appear so I can claim it?

Default How to get live.com cashback via EFT
So I'm ready to cash in my live.com money and the ONLY option it gives me is PayPal, even though I've put a bank account in.
Anyone else been through this? I can't find a link to actually contact them, and I'll be DAMNED if I'll let PP have a finger on my money, or pay the 3% fee on this.

Anyone have experience on this? Thanks!

I'm eligible for mine in 2 weeks and I sure as hell don't want to pay paypal fees either. Kinda defeats the purpose of a rebate. Hopefully, someone will chime in and advise.

There are no Paypal fees if you "withdraw" the money and transfer to your bank account. If you want the money to be mailed to you via a check, there is a $10 service charge. It is safe to transfer your cashback to your Paypal account. All it takes is time, 14 days from cashback to Paypal plus 3 days from Paypal to your bank account.

No, there IS a PayPal fee if you have an account you use constantly and have been forced to upgrade to a "business" or "premier" or whatever name they use to make you feel privileged for paying them out the nose.

What I had to do was send it to a new email; I'll open and close a new account for this one. but live help said if you bought it on ebay, you ONLY get the cashback via PayPal. Watch out, because if you're one of the people PP has gone nuts on and closed your account, you'll be SOL. Oh, and remember it's technically a violation if that's happened to open a new account (which was what the help guy suggested I do).

I have used Paypal for both eBay and non-eBay transactions. I have a premium account. As a buyer, I pay no fees. As a seller, I pay $5 for echeck and whatever the percentage for Paypal credit card or instant cash. For money transfer to/from my bank account, there are no fees.

If Paypal charges me a fee for receiving money from live.com, then I would be surprised and feel upset. When I receive my cashback in 25 days, I'll let you know if I get charges any fees.

I've NEVER received money via PayPal (since I had my "upgraded" account) without losing 2-3% in fees. Sending is free, right, and transferring out, but you pay a fee to get the $, I believe no matter what the method is. My bad though for not clarifying which fees I was referring to; I ONLY meant that any time someone sends me money I lose a percent of it.

It's like in Bonfire of the Vanities when Kim Cattrall tells the daughter "daddy picks up all the little golden crumbs."

Here's the fee schedule for PP:

https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/we...p-fees-outside

I'm not seeing any way here that live.com sends me money without me losing 2-3% of the cash.

Has anyone actually done this yet and have it work??My cashback refunds are supposedly coming through 1st week of Sept. I wondered how this would all work as far as PP and the bank acct. etc. Do they send you am email or anything about this (That it is time to redeem your cashback?) Thanks for any enlightenment. By the way, now it is up to 6 transactions per ebay account -- did you know that? Originally it was only 3 per acct., which I greedily used the first week of the program!!! ANything to suck you in and make you think you are getting a "discount" eh???? There has actually been a whole book written about this: the human tendency to go for a "deal," even if in the end you are being screwed over! (at least you got a deal right??)

Default live.com Question
Okay I am confused on this live.com thing. It have ran into some problems with it. First I signed up, I bought something, I go in to type my address it tells me po boxes aren't accepted...so I type in my home address which doesn't work either. It keeps telling me invalid apt. number?, I don't likve in a apartmen, but it would NOT accept my home street address. So I type in my WORK address, and finally it seems to work. I go in to see my cashback balance and it shows zero it also shows pending cashback as zero. Is that right? I know people have had issues with this and just want to make sure I am doing everything needed to get my cashback.

If you looked at it right away, it will say zero. Within a day or so, you should receive an e-mail saying you got cashback. It just takes a little while to get in there.

Default live.com on ebay
Is live.com safe? I am very confused how it works and how to go about signing up. Does any one have an account and would like to offer advice? Thanks so much!
