Maybe it'll come back after Christmas

That would make sense, because everyone is buying more stuff right now for Christmas, and I do believe that sales on ebay get slower after Christmas because so many people have spent too much money during the holidays. You'd think ebay would want to try and boost sales after Christmas. *keeping my fingers crossed*

You can't get their site to come up at all (the my account on cashback anyway) Wouldn't you know it would be defunct on the day I need to redeem my cashback! Perhaps it has to do with the huge snow out in Seattle and the Microspft servers are down?

I've typed in "cheap ipods, used books, vintage, cheap camera lens, toys, rebecca minkoff...etc.", all I got is the eBay link, but No Cashback Icon!

Am I missing something here? What does this mythical Cashback Icon look like? Do I need the Cashback/Discount Icon to get a Rebate? If I just click on the eBay link (even though it has NO Cashback Icon next to it), will I still get a Rebate?? TIA!

nope, the icon with the % being offered has to be there.

ladies, from what i have heard, live discount from live.com is now over. the last day was december 17.

It's not 100% for sure, as far as I know. But some news articles have mentioned the cashback program as something that "ended on Dec 17"

Don't forget it's only the cashback program for Ebay- you can still get cashback from several merchants, just not the bay. Not that that helps most purse buyers, but for other stuff it can be helpful.
