Default Question about security tags

Ever since I received I had a problem returning a bag due to buyers remorse I've had a fear of selling bags again. She was my first buyer to ever do that to me and waiting to receive the bag back was grueling! I was SO worried that it was going to be a bait and switch so my question is for those of you who use security tags. Do you buy some sort of band or do you make your own and if you buy, where can I get them?

Thx!

there's a great thread here with the info you are looking for:

Any suggestions how can I ensure I don't get a "bait & switch" happen to me????

i use the tyvek wrist bands that you can buy on eBay =) just do a search on ebay for "tyvek" and you'll see them come up.. they're very inexpensive.

I use the tyvek bands too. After I send out a expensive bag, I can sleep at night. My biggest fear is a buyer using the bag for a week, then deciding (remorse) it's not going to work for them. I didn't buy my tags off of eBay. I used some company, can't remember the name off hand. I had them printed up "If this tag is removed you cannot return this bag."

^Whew, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has trouble sleeping after sending out an expensive bag. I thought I was weird.

I was thinking of getting printed tyveks also, but I got the box of them from uline in blue. Won't have to worry about running out for a while.

Me too ! Until I get my feedback, I can't rest.

I'm going to order the tyvek wristbands too. Great idea, thanks everyone for sharing !

I just found this in the Paypal stores that has all sorts of the bands, custom, numbered, etc.

BlueFly uses tyvek bands too to prevent fake or used returns.

I think it's a great idea.

I use tyvek wristbands and I write my eBay name on them and "Must be attached for return", it's also stated in all of my listings about the additional tag.

So far so good.

I buy neon tyveks on eBay and use a magic marker to write "thanks... (my ebay username here)" A few photos later the bag's on its way. The added security helps relieve the stress of sending a total stranger 2-3 thousand dollars worth of label leather.

Hi ladies,

I just checked out pchopper.com and if you want anything printed on the tyvek bands, it's kind of expensive. They charge a $50 plate fee for printing and some other fees. I just found this other site that is pretty reasonable. Any of you who are interested in having the bands pre-printed with your eBay ID may want to check it out.
