Thanks so much for your response. I did contact Paypal about whether or not they will accept an email authentication from a reputable entity, but they said no. I did contact carol from caroldiva.com who will be helping me... I hope she can get it to me very soon.

Dragaonlady if you do end up having to turn this bag over in order to get you $$$ back from your paypal claim you should definetly keep an eye on ebay to see if it turns up again. If you could mark it somehow and take pics before you return it then you could pretty much prove without a doubt that they were reselling fakes.

Paypal will have to pry the purse from my cold dead hands.

I am going to sue them in small claims court, sucks for them, and I am pretty sure that a judge will side with me, it's an inconvience I know but I am just so pissed off that I can't help myself, I really want to stick it to them.

OMG! I just looked up the address I returned the fake Miu Miu. It IS the warehouse of liquidation.com

http://cgi.liquidation.com/auction/v...&convertTo=CAD

This is the message I received from PayPal a couple months ago when I filed the claim and won the case:

===============================================
A refund on this transaction will be awarded to you once the item, in its
original condition, is shipped to the following address:

PayPal Returns
12750 Perimeter Dr Suite 154
Dallas, TX 75228

Attn: Buyer Protection Claims - #PP-************

Make sure to include your case number in the address above. Please
understand that you are responsible for shipping and handling costs and
that we are not responsible for materials that are lost during shipment. If
the transaction is over $250.00 USD, signature is required with online
tracking number.

Once you have shipped the item, please log in using the link below to
provide tracking information for the item you are returning within 10
calendar days. In order to continue with this investigation, it is
important that we receive confirmation that you shipped the item. If you do
not provide tracking information to PayPal, the investigation will end and
the claim will be cancelled.

=================================================

I also remember seeing a thread that collection agents were after buyers after they received the refund but PayPal failed to collect money from buyers.

Is this true?

I just read this thread and I'm stunned.

Dragonlady,

Did anyone (in the paypal boards) think to print out any of the posts or information before it "disappeared"?

Or did anyone print out the auction of that Chanel bag?

Please keep us posted re: 60 min / 20/20. Are those shows in hiatus now for the summer?

How about the Wall St Journal?

They are public corps.

That's the same addy I was given.

You know what gives it away is the part about the item being returned in the "original condition". If they were going to destroy the item, then the condition of the item would be irrelevant.

I did, they have a lawyer in New York, I faxed her all the info and I am waiting on a response back.

Ebay has not been sued by Chanel yet, I have a feeling that is comming soon.
