Wow. That's so incredibly crazy, yet not entirely surprising.

This happened to me months ago. I received a fake Miu Miu, won the case. PayPal wanted me send the fake bag to their office in Texas. I mailed it with siganature confirmation. Two days later, I received my full money, including shipping back. How much you are covered is based on the amount of Seller's Protection. My case has $2000 protection so I got my $900 back. However, my expense was about $100 -- paid CarolDiva for authetnication, and mailed the bag to Paypal with insurance and tracking. If you don't mail in the bag in the period they required, you will loose the claim.

This whole thing really upsets me but I am not surprised. Afterall, Ebay makes a profit selling authentic or fakes. They don't really care as long as their bottom line remains healthy. The more fakes in their pipeline (and so more items in a category), the fatter their bottom line is through their fee structure. It seems like every now and then, they pull a few good and bad items just for show. But they are really laughing all the way to the bank. It's disgusting.

Liquidation.com is in Washington DC and a NASDAQ company. I believe if the FBI wanted to get them they would. Just like the "war on drugs", however, I digress....

OMG! Just when you think nothing could shock you more regarding EvilBAY and Paypal. They're practically forcing you to engage in illegal activity.

OMG they are so full of it. Maybe the rep doesn't know anything afterall b/c paypal would be screwed hardcore if the dirty secret leaks out. Come to think of it, why would they go through all the troubles recieving the replicas, "destroying them" and hiring people to do everything when the buyer can just do it themselves? BOOOOOOOO.

This is the address they gave me
PayPal Returns
12750 Perimeter Dr Suite 154
Dallas, TX 75228

How similar is it! I wonder what expaination paypal will come up with.

Well according to the Annual Report (10-K) filed by Liquidity Services, Inc. with the Securities & Exchange Commission, that is the location of one of their facilities.

This Dallas address is new, it used to be Paypal would ask you to send the items to different locations of the isoldit! stores accross the country. The regular posters over at the Paypal Forums (over at ebay.com) would know more about this if anyone from the media or FBI would like to get more information.

I remember very well the story that was posted at the forums, it was one eBay user who won her dispute for a fake Chanel. She also was asked by Paypal to ship to "their" address which she promptly did. But then after shipping she became curious to know more about it, and posted the Q on the forum and people immediately started googling the address up and we found out it was an isoldit! location. We did a little more research about it and found the related ebay seller's name to that isoldit! store. We then watched the seller for new listings for Chanel bags. Not less than a month after she sent the bag, the fake Chanel was listed by that seller on eBay. The listing was reported by several members of that forum but eBay would not take it down and someone end up with that fake.

So that is how I picked up on that story. This was about 2yrs ago so this 'reselling' thing has been going on for sometime. Someone else from the other forum should very well remember the story. This doesn't get talked about or reported a lot. My guess is that most people are just happy to see an end to the dispute, which is often drawn out many weeks if not months, and are just understandably wanting to get their money back. So they are not that curious to wonder about the address or what Paypal is doing with the items.
