WOW!, looked up the site and it looks like they are a reseller/liquidator of scratch and dent items, WOW!
Cheers

This is truly one of the most shocking threads I've ever read. I have been burned on eBay three times. Twice, I had to return the bag to the seller (using a shipping service since it is illegal to mail fraudulent items) and got a refund; the third time, PayPal backed my claim, refunded my money, and requested that I mail the item (VERY fake Chanel bag) to them, but ended up letting me destroy it. They took my word for it, did not demand any sort of proof, etc. I hate to think they are selling fakes on eBay but we all know the name of the eBay/PayPal game = GREED. Nothing would surprise me anymore! And if they are actually doing this, nothing would make me happier than to see them get caught and punished!

I wouldn't doubt that ebay owns this company as well. Someone should definitely call 20/20 or 60 minutes or something. Don't go with the local, go with the big guys and CRUSH paypal. News like this would send that stock crashing so fast!

Yes, that is normal. After I won a dispute with a non-cooperative seller I was asked to send the fake to Texas. I believe I didn't get my credit until they have received it.

Since I think its so shocking and insulting that they would try to resell it via Liquidity Services, I called the FBI (since thsi involves interstate sale of counterfeit goods) and filed a complaint.
Paypal, nor Liquidity services, are NOT getting this purse back.
I am turning the purse over the the FBI with all of my information showing that they wanted me to return it to Liquidity Services.
I want the FBI to investigate. They need to find out where this stuff came from, and worst of all, that it would get back onto the street as a resale.
That's very wrong and very very illegal, and they need to pay for what they're doing to the public.
Ebay and Paypal have really really broken public trust.

This is very shocking, I am having a hard time swallowing this news.

I want to thank mmmpureses for bringing this to our attention, I have a feeling that this is going to be big news...........and very bad for ebay and paypal.

Paypal is still holding my $420 hostage and will not release the funds until I fax a letter to a sup showing that the FBI has taken the purse, even though the dispute was in my favor.

I would ship it back, if you want the money. Not sure what they would do if you wrote "fake" across it in marker... before shipping it back.

haha....

the email from paypal states that the item must be shipped back in its original condition, st my expense, with a tracking # and that they are not responsible if the item is "lost" in transit.

They do everything just so underhandedly.

dragonlady76, you are very welcome, I must say I hesitated to say anything bc. I know the predicament this gets people in as we all want to do the right thing. This is just not right. I don't blame you at all if you just want to send it in to get your refund. However hopefully maybe someone here has got connections with big media, it would be great if this was picked up by them to get the story exposed the way this deserves to be.

If you were to send it to them, I think it would be geat to mark it somewhere, bc. I am sure this will eventually show up on eBay again.
