I think it has to be a fake PAYPAL email not a fake bag.

From the above article - 'Others put it more bluntly. "Consumers know full well when they're bidding on eBay, they're not buying an original LV purse," says Toronto retail consultant Anthony Stokan. "But the point is, they feel that they have satisfied that luxury quotient because they have something that they would never ever be able to afford in a regular retail environment." '

Wow! That's a huge over generalisation, isn't it?

Many eBay buyers knowingly buy fakes, of course; but, as we know all too well, a lot buy them unknowingly.

Also, not all eBay buyers 'would never be able to afford' to buy 'in a regular retail environment' - many are trying to find past season, or sold-out, items they missed instore and use eBay as a means to supplement their collection, not as their only source.

What a prejudiced ignoramus!

What a load of crap. I wish I could pull discontinued colors/styles out of my hat but seeing as I can't, it's eBay for me. And what about people who live in the sticks? Are they not allowed nice things? Ridiculous.

What an idiot! He clearly has no clue. I have purchased things priced higher than retail on eBay in order to get something limited edition and sold out.

Actually, I just copied and pasted each page. But, it's has all the people's names, who replied to it. Do you think any of those people will get upset?

Would take forever for me to remove each one. If they are posting on there, I can't see why they wou;dn't mind it here, right?

I don't see how they would mind, if they were posting there, thats a public board as well.
I'm trying to paste the whole thing but it is like locking up.
I will try sections, at a time...

Wow. I'm in complete shock affter reading this thread.

If Paypal were to ask me to send them the fake bag, I'd take a Sharpie and write "FAKE" all over the inside of the bag and THEN send it to them hahaha
