am thinking that the credit card company can't issue a chargeback if the

buyer still has the item.... contact pp & explain that the buyer still is in

possession of the item...they can't possibly think it is acceptable that the

buyer can have the item & get a chargeback & PP deduct the money from

your account.. what exactly is the SNAD for.. unfortunately there are credit

cards they you can file a chargeback for well past 30 days...but the buyer

can't have the merchandise & get their money, too!!!

The only reason I mentioned that you offer a return is because you are most likely going to to be in one of two postions- either the buyer gets the item and the money (this would be absolutely awful and unfair but I have seen this happen. The credit card is calling the shots now) or you accept it back for a return. Accepting it back is obviously unfair to you again but the whole situation is unfair to to you. There is the chance that the credit card will deny the refund and return but they are working for the buyer and the buyer is unhappy. Their job is to help the buyer...if you don't put the return option out there, it would be horrible to see the buyer get both the money and the item.

So, this is the response I got after 3 attempts to contact the buyer.....(Read from the bottom up) Infuriating!!! My response was....First, I would like to know what the problem was and why it took over a month for you to file a claim?? In addition, why did you file a claim BEFORE contacting me? Were you hoping I wouldn't notice??

Give me your address & I'll ship it back.

Hello?? Can you please help me to understand this charge back?? Is there a reason you didn't contact me immediately? The charm was in perfect condition when I mailed it, so, I'm not sure what this is about aside from you trying to scam me out of $350.00. Shame on you!!!

Why, over a month after the charm was delivered to you are you filing a dispute. Is there a reason you didn't contact me immediately? I had a bad feeling about this from the start. I should have trusted my instinct obviously.

This buyer is not nice obviously... at this point in time, it is probably in your

best interest even though it is unfair to just take it back... when concerns

me is that your buyer will keep the item & receive the credit on their credit card

& you'll be out the money & the item....

OMG!!!! My blood is boiling!!! Finally heard back from the buyer.....

1) I did try to contact you within (LIE) 2 days of receiving the item.
#2) I don't believe the charm was
as described. (Exactly as described as noted below)
The tag is not attached to
the bottom of the box. (I told you this before you agreed to purchase!!)
I have not removed the charm from the box, so
you would receive it back in the same
condition you sent it to me.
Please provide a return address at your earliest
Connivence. Thank you.

This was my email when the item was sold.....

Hawaiian snow globe (Only the outer box has tag)

And the response from the buyer....

Hello D***, yes, I would like the Snow Globe

I know i'm being stubborn, but, COME ON!!!! It was delivered 5 damn weeks ago!!!! I refuse to go down without a fight!!!!

Lastly....If you received an item and emailed the seller to return it within 2 days as he noted, wouldn't you HAVE the return address? I mean it was right on the box I mailed it in!! Would you toss the box and decide 2 days later, hmmm....this isn't what I expected.

Fabulous!!! So, I bought a couple of items on Ebay. I tried to pay and it is blocking me from using my account. I suppose because my account is in a negative status due to a scammer issueing a cc chargeback? I emailed Paypal and they said I can't use my account until I "resolve" the negative balance even though the case is still under investigation. UGH! That balance will be negative for a long, long time. Paypal will have to pry the money from my cold, dead fingers!!!

O.M.G!!!!! Remember the first transaction I mentioned in this post where the buyer got the item and the transaction went smoothly which made me feel ok about a second transaction?!?! Well, That one shipped on 2/7 and he just filed a CC CB claim saying "item not received" I have the tracking info AND an email from the buyer saying, "I got the charm today and it is very beautiful, thank you." It still doesn't stop the fact that my PP account is now $700.00 in the negative. I'm hoping the credit card company can see that this is clearly fraud, plain and simple.
