Default Paypal Claim! BUT WHY???

I just got notice that there is a claim against me. I sold a COACH star keyfob more than a month ago. The buyer left positive feedback and now all of a sudden she or her bank has put a reversal on the payment. I don't know why either! I called paypal and they said "just give us the tracking number" I was like "I didn't put tracking for a $18 item!" BUT I KNOW SHE RECEIVED THE ITEM BECAUSE SHE LEFT POSITIVE FEEDBACK.

Anyone been in this same situation? What was the outcome?

Thanks in advance!

What is the reason for the claim?

Was she a new buyer? Some newbies leave fb before they receive the item. I'm so glad it was only an $18 item! It seems to me that this is becoming quite prevalent on eBay. Buyers leave positive feedback and then a month or so later, file a claim. I don't understand it either.

no matter if it's a $1 or a $1000 always use delivery confirmation. If you print your labels online, it's free.

I once had the same problem. I contacted the seller directly as well as paypal by phone. It was a bit of a nightmare jumping through the hoops, but paypal did side with me b/c she had left positive feedback specifically saying she had received the item. HOWEVER i am not sure it was paypal that did the trick so much as it was the customer who admitted she wasn't sure what was up (i think her husband must have been checking the bills and saw something unusual) and i think helped clear up things with paypal.

It should be mentioned in the dispute what it is about, no? Otherwise, email her and ask. Very strange.

But yes, you must get delivery confirmation on any item no matter how large or small.

It doesn't say why. I did call paypal and they said the buyer or the bank put a stop payment on it. Can you do that more than a month later?

Could be a juvenile or other family member using an account. Always use DC.

In order to be protected under Paypal's Seller Protection you are required to use a shipping method that can be tracked online to prove delivery (i.e. delivery confirmation).

Sounds like she is trying to keep the goods and the money. People are so dishonest. I hope you win this one.
