Default New to selling...Need Advice Please!!

Ok, here is the situation:

I sold a Marc Jacobs bag to a buyer a few weeks ago. She was really nice during the transaction and after she BIN'd the item asked if I could ship it USPS priority mail. Well, I am not really on the up and up about the whole shipping thing and I always take the bags to this mail service place right down the street from me. It would have been almost $70 dollars to ship it that way, so I had to use my best judgement and forego the 2nd day shipping. She said her birthday was a day away, so I sent her a message with a tracking number and apologized for not being able to ship it the way she wanted.along with a pleasant b-day wish. I thought it was better not to take a chance with someone else's money! Well, I have sent her more than 3 messages asking if she received the bag etc... and she has never replied. It was delivered over two weeks ago, so I know she received it. I left her feedabck trying to solicit some response, but she has not left me feedback. Do I just let it go? DO some buyers just quit communicating once they have the bag in thier hands? With all the eBay horror stories I always hear I was starting to worry! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! TIA.

What exactly are you worried about? If she received the item and didn't complain, everything is probably fine. I wouldn't worry unless there is a reason to worry! It's not like you become best buddies with someone you do an eBay transaction with.

I wouldn't worry, sounds like she's just not a good at answering emails

Remember it's summer time too - lots of people go on vacation right now.

that's happened to me a lot - I have great communication with buyers before they receive it, and then once it's been shipped, they just stop replying, even when they say they'll let me know when they get it and leave feedback. I just let it go and figure that they'd contact me if something was wrong....It sure is annoying, though!

Yeah, don't worry. Some can't be bothered once they receive the item.

As long as you have signature or delivery confirmation, I wouldn't worry about it. She probably hasn't bothered or doesn't want to leave feedback. It's best to leave it alone.
