Hi, I want to use the sniping services offered but they all want you eBay user id and password. That makes me very nervous. Anyone know of a reputable service that doesn't require this? Please help....my auction ends in 3 hours! I appreciate any help.

Justsnipe gives a few freebies a week, 5 I believe..
if you're a heavy bidder like I am..
there's a monthly fee of $5 for unlimited snipes..

I love it.

They need your eBay name and pass to bid for you. A few years back, I was sniping a wonderful platinum diamond ring that went for a great price and had changed my ebay password a few weeks earlier and totally forgot to change my pass on esnipe and my bid failed. It is one mistake I regret to this day, especially as platinum has tripled in value since then and it was a very heavy and exactly my style and tastes. I have since seen the winner of that ring resell it for a huge profit, too. The legit snipe sites do not do anything evil with your information or they would not last very long. They just need it to place a bid for you like others have said.

Thanks for your help everyone!! I only had a couple of hours left on the auction so I decided to sit by the computer and refresh the screen a million times in hopes that I would win...which I did! I really hate the anxiety right before an auction ends which is why I usually just use BIN.
Thanks for your help!!

go to their web page and you can read up on it. it is a small percentage of every buy you complete. if you don't win you don't pay. I have used auctionsniper for years.

I use Bidnapper, which you can try for 15 days at no charge. I've used it for a little over a year and I love it. All of the good services are probably comparable. I pay $19 for three months unlimited sniping. I've also recommended Bidnapper to friends who liked it and signed up. Each recommendation earns a month of free sniping. I haven't forgotten what it was like to hover over the computer, waiting for the final seconds of an auction. Wow, what a difference a sniping service makes!

Will my sniping service still work now that I have the eBay security key?

My first time using a sniper. Ending soon and I'm so excited and nervous because part of me would rather rely on myself. I really want to win that auction!

I also use AuctionSniper and have been for about 4 years now. Never had any problems (knock on wood) and love it. Aren't they owned by eBay??? Perhaps not, but they're legit and I love them. I only use it for something that I REALLY want and has a lot of heavy bidding, otherwise I'm very choosy when I use it as once you exceed the first 3 snipes (free), they charge you.
