Don't sit back and wait it out either if you are not happy. You have 45 days with paypal to file claim. I would do it right away if you if you have decided to return it. I am so sick of folks misrepresenting items to make a quick couple of bucks. Geez is it going to kill someone to tell the truth? I would rather be up front about stuff then have folks pissed off. Sorry you have to go through this.

For this exact reason is why I don't buy bags on ebay anymore. I was in a similar situation two years ago with someone lying about the condition of a bag. No more. I will just buy a bag myself in person so I can inspect it.

I am so sorry this happened with your bag, I know how much you wanted it. Christmas is approaching and some people buy things and hold them until they think they will sell best... Maybe you will get a new one for a better price and this whole experience will just fade away. Have faith. If I ever see one, I will let you know.

Thank you for your kind words of hope. Maybe I'll find it one day...

I'm so sorry. I don't know what possesses people to be so dishonest about items they are selling. I guess they think people would rather deal with something in poor condition than go through the hassle of a return.

I hope you find one again soon.

i think you are right to return it. i have had this happen before and it is such a disappointment when a seller has not disclosed the true condition of the bag. you may want to open a resolution case with paypal first to document the return and make sure it is authorized by either the seller or paypal. then use signature confirmation as someone else mentioned. paypal will guide you through the process. good luck.

Definitely give the seller a negative feedback and explain your situation. Hope it works out for you!

Make sure to get the feedback you give as factual as possible, and avoid any PP or ebay references as those can get your feedback removed. Facts make you look level headed, much more than personal notes of anger :) Just my 2 carrots.
