I'm trying to set up an account with them, I saw I need to list 5 items to start and then 10 more need to be added within 2 weeks, but I'm wondering if, after that, there is a minimum of items one needs to have listed in order to keep the store open. TIA.

Hello everybody,

Here's a feedback on my second buy from malleries.
I just got a vintage bag from Charles at 'Only Authentics' and everything went great.
Charles was very helpful, we did communicate a lot and each e-mail I sent to him was replied few minutes after.
I was staying very very very briefly in N.Y.C so he even came up to my hotel to bring me the bag in person (I'm not from the U.S.A so I wanted to avoid custom).
The bag looks even better than on pictures.
So I'm really happy with my purchase and the service provide by 'Only Authentics' and overall I think malleries is a very great website :)

I don't like that you have to do that plus the 65 flat fee to sign up and 75 each month .20 each photo AND no feedback.
I know fd is hard when you get a unjustified neg but i would like to see how other buyers experience was with that seller before i buy from them. They also don't remove items that have been sold

eh I wouldn't sell their or buy

It's not .20 each photo, it's .20 each LISTING.
All sellers on Malleries have a proven track record elsewhere on-line (which is usually ebay)....they have to have that amongst other requirements to even qualify to sell on the site, so a buyer can check a Malleries seller's feedback and/or history. I use feedback as only one piece of the puzzle. Along with other checks, I also search a seller's reputation right here on tPF as I find that's even better than a one line sentence that you see on ebay.
It's up to individual shop owners to maintain their stores on the site and some clear out past sold items quickly and others leave them up for a period of time for reference, or to show potential buyers past items they have sold, etc.

Their are no minimums for keeping your shop open, but it's not really for the casual seller. It's more for small business owners who are selling on a regular basis, imo.

A friend told me about Malleries and I recently made a few purchases (I am now addicted!). Michele at x sold me the most gorgeous Botttega Veneta Maxi in the cherry red and I am in Love with it! She was sooo nice and the bag rocks! I also purchased an absolutely amazing Chanel Caviar tote from Only Authentics that is beyond words! It has always been my dream to carry a bag like this in my professional life. Charles was so helpful to me in choosing what would be best.. He has a huge selection and really knows what he is talking about. I haven't tried any other sellers yet, but the site is very reputable, in my experience.

I emailed Malleries because I was interested in opening a shop with them. They never responded!
Before I plop down the money to open a store with them, I want to get an idea of how many transactions occur per month (or some sort of statistic) and how many site users.

I've been finished with ebay for handbags for a year and a half now. I have purchased 2 handbags on Malleries and am very satisfied with the site and the sellers I have met there.

Only Authentics at Malleries is a great seller - terrific communication with the desire to make sure your purchase is the right bag for you. He has a wonderful selection of handbags to choose from as well. Will be back again!

Did you ever get a response afterwards?

I am not sure where you saw "10 more" to be added. Did you set up an account as a luxury items handbag seller or clothing? I had 7 items initially but after selling several of them I only have 3-4 in my store at a time with no problems, so there shouldn't be a minimum. All I know of is 5 to start, and then you can have up to 75.

I am so glad that your transaction went so well! I wouldn't expect THAT kind of service of a Malleries seller, but it sure doesn't surprise me at all that they are willing to bend over backwards. I think it is full of good people who value their reputations, are professional, and provide the kind of service you would expect when spending that kind of money. Congrats on your purchase!
