I'll take- I hear you on waiting for refunds from eBay. Every time I've bought LV on eBay I hold my breath until it is in hand...for fear that if there is a problem I will have to fight tooth and nail to fix it!

ssc0619- I think that, like any sellers market, people do come and go. Everyone wants to try something new. The thing to remember is that it is the same in the "real world" where consignment stores open and close here and there. The core sellers mostly have established businesses on Malleries, where the few I have seen move on didn't...if that makes sense? It just depends on what type of items you have, quantity, ect.

hotshot and Bags4me2- You are welcome!

Caanie- I totally get where you are coming from. IMO I think that because of the fixed price listing sellers start their prices higher for different reasons.
For example- every item I have sold I have received offers for that I negotiated and then accepted. Another example would be that I see many rare, limited edition, and discontinued items on the site and those are priced higher because items like that can appreciate rather than depreciate.

Malleries Luxury Mall has all different types of shoppers- some are there to find the rare items and don't mind paying a bit more while others are looking for an item that is gently used at a reasonable price. My advice would be to never be afraid to make an offer or negotiate your best price with a seller. Most are happy to consider them and appreciate your showing interest in their items.

I have found several steals on the site as well- you just have to check back often and not be afraid to look through all the listings!

I am one of these 'core sellers' on the Malleries site and I can say that my own experiences pretty much mirror yours AmourCouture.
Each month we shrink the number of our ebay listings and grow our Malleries listings.
I have to say too that, the buyers there are absolutely the best. Always kind, respectful and serious about doing business. For the most part too, they are much more knowledgable about authentic goods than what we experience on ebay.
Additionally, the fellow vendors there are very helpful and caring to one another and really want to see everyone succeed.
For anyone that is more than a casual seller, I would highly recommend this site.

Yes, the $75 fee is charged every month that your store is open. If you were to take a break or didn't want to pay the monthly fee, then your shop would be closed and removed from the site. When you wanted to open again, you would probably have to start all over again. Unless you have a decent sized and/or continuing supply of items, then it's probably not a site for you.

I am a seller on malleries and I have to say that I have been very happy with the site. I have had a very good experience with the buyers that frequent the site and many repeat clients. The management is very good and responds quickly to any questions you may have.

Thumbs up for Malleries. Welcome Amour Couture. Hi Chanel Touch!!

This sounds really good! I've been trying to consolidate my Hermes collection for a while now, every time I put an item for sale on Ebay it sells quickly, but because of their restrictions (who apparently don't apply to scammers), I can only sell 2 items every month. And God forbid I need to modify something in my listing! It would take me over a year to sell everything. Thank you so much for this info.

Thank you sooo much for stepping forward Cyndee!
I hope that maybe a few eBay "core" sellers that are feeling defeated with the low bids and constant problems might see this make the change as well. Too often we see people coming here to vent about low offers and no bids hoping for a better alternative. I'm just so glad I found one that has been more of a success than a failure.

I have no idea, but I sell much more on Malleries than I do on ebay per month.

You don't actually have to open an account to shop on Malleries, so the only accounts are seller accounts. So, just like ordering anything you find what you want, put it in a shopping cart, and "Check Out".
There is a more indepth explaination here on the website http://www.malleries.com/about.php
