Default made in china

I am upset about this and I am hoping for some opinions. I sold an authentic designer item on eBay -that i purchased in a reputable large retailer (in canada) initally for myself but it didnt really suit me. when i emailed to see if the buyer has received the item (i express shipped it at my cost to insure it) and she writes back saying that they are fake because the label said made in china. I'm sorry but there are designer factories there-not everything in China is fake and street stuff - i used to be that ignorant too until i took a trip to Asia and seen all the boutiques etc. and i don't believe in buying fakes because 1. its fake and 2. its supporting an illegal cause..etc etc etc
argh

anyways i'm venting and frustrated because I politely told her where it was purchased and that they are authentic and now i have not heard back from her--and with this new feedback rule i'm not sure when she will post her feedback on it....now i'm wondering if i should call her up and tell her she is wrong

Authentic Coach is made in China. She really needs to do her homework before making accusations. Maybe if you can find an article about the brand name being produced in China she will believe you. If you are going to call her make sure you have some fact to back you up.

Made in China doesn't mean fake. I bought a burberry from a major department store that is made in China.
Celine bags are made in China, too, aren't they?
Lots of other designer items are made in India, Turkey and etc...

Ironically, the ones have "made in Italy" printed on them are the ones to watch for, AKA super fakes.

I was told by a friend when this brand first came out (or came in Australia) and I was avoiding it. I used to think that made in China equals poor quality but after speaking to a SA I have changed my mind. She told me that they've sent some bags back that were made in Italy and Turkey because of the poor stitching, but China does a quite good job.

I still am not sure if buying desginer stuff that's made in China is a good idea (although I just bought one... I loved it so much)because they don't pay the workers much yet their products are over priced.

I used to too! !
but then i found out that they have to produce the goods in accordance to the designer's standards anyways so the location really doesnt matter. I believe the majority are moving to India and elsewhere because of the carbon tax talk though--

I can't justify paying that much for a designer bag that have the "made in china" tag, just my personal preference.

this a bait and switch that been happening in eBay for so long. thats why everytime a sold designer bag on ebay i make sure that i put a tag that can only be removed my cutting it and take a photo / documentting what i have send. so atleast yo have prove, if you ever encounter bad buyer.
