I figured with all the problem-loaded, frustrating threads floating around, we could use something like this.

I always have people asking, "How much for ____ shipped to the U.S.?" In case they haven't noticed, Hawaii is part of the U.S. Looks like they need to go back to basic geography class.

Lol!
I loved this...my auctions always state "Comes from a smoke, pet and child free home."
I get an email from a lady asking, "Do these books come from a smoke free enviroment?"
I reply nicely, "Yes, as stated in my listing, it comes from a smoke, pet and child free home."

She never even bothered to bid.
Either she didn't like my answer or she wanted books that came from a smoker.

I love it when I state in big bold letters that I do not ship outside of the United States, and I constantly get emails asking the shipping charges for other countries

PS. No offense to those potential buyers outside of the US, but I've had a lot of customs issues in the past.

I love when they ask how much it is to ship to a certain country and that country is listed on the drop down menu where the shipping charges are. I always respond and tell them, but sometimes I want to say "If you click the drop down menu in the shipping info, it will tell you how much it is", but I refrain...

Aww!

I am really tempted to shoot a reply back with a map of the U.S. & a circle around Hawaii... but that would be rude, lol!

I don't know if this is funny but recently I'm been slowly venturing onto eBay.

DH wants me to add this to all my descriptions: Wife has too many bags. Please help a man out.

It appears that me and my friends have a shopping addiction. Our DHs are making us unload but we change our minds everyday!

Do it, LOL! Any bag-loving eBayer will get a kick out of it.

I hate it when the title says "new with tags" and the description says "worn only a couple of times". I also saw a listing recently where the seller described the bag as "gently used" (it was beat to hello) and said "tag still attached to inside zipper".

Yeah. That made me feel better.

When I used to sell on eBay, I was selling a dress and I state in huge letters in the descrip INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IS BY USPS EMS A FLAT $35 NON NEGOTIABLE.

Actual shipping to the UK for that item would be in the $39-49 range.

I got somebody in the UK asking "Why is shipping so expensive" with no hi's, thank yous, or even proper punctuation.

oh and also when people spell really simple things wrong. it makes me wonder (and hope for the sake of mankind) if most eBay users are kids. I refuse to believe that adults spell things like "shipping" or "measurements" wrong.

I don't understand why you would block them. It's not like they said "Why is shipping so damn expensive?" or used a worse expletive.

I get questions asking for measurements (that are stated in the listings) and I always reply "As stated in the listing, the item measures blah blah blah" and MORE THAN ONCE people have replied "measure it again, it looks (bigger/smaller)".

Because I didn't understand the purpose of such a question. Was she looking for me to change my mind? Perhaps she should have asked politely instead of questioning me.

People on eBay terrify me, and I will block them if there is any hint that they might like to cause trouble. Also, I saw in her profile for "feedback left for others" that she left strings of negatives.

Haha, that's funny- she wanted smoky books!
