Listed purse not searchable on eBay

Has anyone listed a designer purse on eBay, but it does not appear in eBay's search results or under my (seller's) "view items for sale"? I can see my listing when I access the purse listing link directly, but when I search for the item, it does not appear in eBay's search results.

Any reason why this would happen?

Sometimes it takes 12-24 hours for eBay to list. My designer bag took about 10 hours before I could see it!

eBay is "indexing" your listing, my listings do not show up for up to 24 hours.

It also depends on the brand/item you are listing. Some items are delayed by up to a day, but some items appear right away.

it annoys me no end when a listing takes 24 hours to show, a whole day lost , where you might have had a buyer
