Thanks for checking for me that was very sweet of you.
But I bought one last night from the D&B store in LA.
And got the $50 dollars of on it by using the coupon that someone else posted in this thread.

You guys are real great!
You just continue to amaze me!
I just hope that some how can give back to this forum and all of you.
Even if it's just a laugh at some of my more amazingly stupid moments in life!

Thanks again,

Matt

^^I saw that you bought it already for your wife after I posted. Congrats!

We could use some male perspective here once in a while, so don't stop coming once your wife joins us. There's also this guy on the Louboutin forum who is also buying stuff for his wife.....very sweet. I don't think I can get DH to join a "purse forum." LOL!

Hooraaay; glad you found the bag after all!!!

Just had to add my thoughts to some earlier posts...I don't think it's at all unreasonable to be upset when you win an auction and the seller ends up backing out of it, for whatever reason. You don't bid on eBay thinking that when you win the auction, you MIGHT get the item in the end--you're supposed to get what you won, fair and square!

Thanks again for all the kind and wonderful, replys and support!
Only 9 more day to go to Christmas and then my wife gets to met all you wonderful ladies that are here!

This a really special forum that you got here and I really do mean that, most of the other forums that I post on are way to techincal and well COLD!
Even the jokes are cold there.
I know that my wife will be in very good company here.

Matt

BTW:
Do you think leave Feedback for the seller at top of this post?
Now that every thing has worked out and and I really do believe that she didn't mean to do what happend, and she is no way like that Creepy Jerk in JM's Ring thread,(WOW that is one strange seller YIIKKEEESS! ),and I have seen no relisting of the bag that I had won from her.
Please leave your thoughts on this.
I really do value what your opinions are on this!
I'm just having a tough time making up my mind on this what to do about this.
Thanks!

It can be very annoying when a seller changes their mind on a sale and they should ideally do so before the auction ends. You have the right to leave appropriate feedback but not worth having negative feedback (if thats what you leave) returned back. Send a message to other D&B sellers and I am sure they will hunt one down for you.

Actually,
I have the Bag is coming in from the D&B store in LA as we speak and it should be here tomorrow!
I guess all of you has softened my heart toward the seller and since, she did not do what she did, with malice but I truly believe buy mistake, Unlike what happen to JM in here JC Ring Thread.
I was thinking of giving her at least a nuetral or a good with a explaination.
Maybe I getting to soft?
Maybe it the season?
Maybe it because all of you have brought out a nicer side of me?
The funny thing is my wife has noticed the change in me since I've been posting here!
Maybe it is all 3?

Matt

Wow Matt, you are awesome and it's very wonderful that you got the bag you are looking for. eBay can be a nightmare sometimes, but eh, ya take the good with the bad. Main point is you got your lovely wife the bag she's been wanting for Xmas and you are happy, all is well, etc.

We would love to eventually have her here on tPF (as well as you of COURSE, lol) and see her show off her lovely bag that her darling hubby so crazily sought out for her in the name of love!!!!!!!

Have a beautiful day and welcome!!! :

Ok things are going good now and I just got another dumb IDEA!
Well maybe it not so dumb!

We were in Dillards tonight and We walked by the Handbags and It dawned on me, maybe I should get her a matching D&B Zebra Checkbook wallet whatever thingy to go with the Bag.(If she only knew what she is getting)

This what I was thinking of:

http://www.dooney.com/OA_HTML/ibeCCt...?section=25183

I found 3 on eBay But right now if I'm going to get this in time do I take another chance with Ebay or do I just bite the bullet and buy it at the store or get from the D&B Store and use that 20% off coupon again?

Here are the 3 eBay listing:

I hope you all realize that you have helped to turn me into a, "Shallow Obsessing Strongly Encouraged Complusive, Purse buying Husband!"
But you know what I really don't mind, She really does deserve it!
I think the SA at Macy's and Dillards think I'm nuts!
Or maybe they just wish their husbands would do the same.

I need your help as to what you think is my best option.

I figure that the Checkbook thingys will go for:
$140ish on eBay, but that if I win and it all goes well!(I can't have a goof-up now!)
$210ish at Dillard's with tax. (but I'll have it tommorow night!)
$180ish from the D&B store in LA if they got it and hope it gets here in time.

Also I got another Question?

What is a DH!
On this forum I've seen alot of you use that term!

Thanxs again,

Matt

Hahaha! DH=Dear Husband

I'd say just get it from D&B store. So what if it might be late. At least you have the bag already and tell her another surprise is on the way. That'll keep her smiling the whole time she's wondering what the surprise could be.

I messed this post up originally and then ran out of time to fix it so please fogive me; this would be me being the other form of DH.
That would be the DUMB HUSBAND!

Ok I did some refiguring and I'm just going to go get the checkbook thingy from Dillards.
It will only cost me about $20 more than if I get it from the D&B Store.
Not worth the wait.
Forget eBay can't risk it right now.
So I'm off to Dillard's now!
Oh, and the D&B Safari Zebra bag has made it to Kansas City today so it will make it to Topeka tomorrow!
Now I just got to beat her home from work tomorrow!
I can't believe how excited I'm getting!
All I know is She is going to be Very surprised Next Tuesday!
Oh, I also forgot to tell you that I got a little joke that I'm going to pull on her with this,
I bought a used Fossil Bag on eBay that is OK and she'd like it but I'm going to put in the D&B box and let her open that up instead.
And play really Dumb!
Oh coarse then I will give her the real Gift afterwards.

You ladies are the Best!
Matt
