Thank you for making me feel welcome here!
I have over the years of posting on some of the larger audio forums ( I most likely have in excess over 5000 posts on these sites) have learned that most people really mean well.
I for one have miscommunicated myself several times over the years.
It mostly comes from the fact that I'm dyslexic.
After the fact we all usually have a goood laugh and move on.
What I have learn is that the big problem with all forums is all you see is the written word, you don't get the true emotion that the poster is feeling like you do on the phone.
This why we use Skype troubleshoot and build systems and discuss how to fix the latest artist's messed up vocals with Autotune so that they can sound like stars.
(And there is more of them then you can even imagine.)
Skype put a voice to the name.
Not that that would work here but it is pretty amazing when you have a guy in Kansas having a conference call to a guy in Vancouver, a women in Portland, a guy in NY,NY a guy in Berlin GER, and last but not least a guy in Christchurch New Zeland all for free at the same time and it sounds better than Ma Bell all talking Audio Production.
Who Knows, maybe that would work for you also to discuss the latest handbags or what ever else!

Any ways back on the real topic!

Quote"
In any case, have you tried calling different Macy's in your area?"

Yes I have, I have tried, Topeka, Kansas City, Witcita, and Omaha.
No luck this was when the F&F Sale was going on.
I could find the Griaffe but not the Zebra and the Zebra is what she wants.
Don't ask me why.
Maybe because it reminds her of some of the spandex I used to wear in My Hair-Metal days in the 80's when I playing in L.A. and every where else!

Boy that was long time ago.
Now I feel old.

So Thanks again, for all of your help
Matt

Aww, poor guy. I can tell you are frustrated about this and just want to find the item for your wife. If you call Macys in New York, by the way, they might be able to locate the bag for you in a store elsewhere, and have it sent to you.

Good luck! And welcome to the forums, also.

Your wife is really lucky to have a hubby like you, i'm sure she'll appreciate whatever you get her. Maybe get her a different handbag for the mean time while you hunt for the other bag, therefore she can own 2 bags and start her collection.

Now that would be very scary these days!
And I still play Bass just not as Heavy as Iused to actually I play Christian Music now a days.
But...I still have my long hair though!

I can't tell you the name of the Band due to legal problem that I had with THEM and Capitol records.
But we did make it quite big for a time back then.
Then the EGO'S grew and so did the corporate side of it!
We used to play all the clubs on the strip the Trubadore, the Wiskey, Madam Wong's, and all the rest.
Then we got signed in 84 by Capitol and that when a really great band got ruined.
Since their way was change the songs and tell use how to dress and look.
Man do I still hate the smell EXTRA Hold Hair Spary!
But this was,
A Long Time Ago In a City Far, Far, AWAY!

BTW I got the BAG!!

See this post!! WAHOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Your the Best! Thank You!

Thanks for all your help,
Matt

Matt - I called my local Macy's and I specifically asked for the one you wrote on your OP, but the SA said that she only has one left in the Zebra. She said "it looks like a bucket bag and it's the big one." I'm not sure what that means since I'm not very familiar with D&B. So I told her that I'll give you the info and that you'll call her directly. PM me for the store info.

And that is really true to this day!
I can't stand the smell of any of that stuff!
I think we used to buy that stuff by the case and I not kidding about that!
As Vince Neil of Motley Cure once said,"It was the decade of decadence!"
But to tell you the truth al least we actually could play and sing; Unlike most of the Bands and Acts that are out there today.

Matt
