Default Its not my fault Shipping rant!

I'm kinda bugged out about this.

I just had a Canada buyer purchase an item from me.

Shipping & handling for the item is $15 by Priority mail to Canada.

She messaged me asking me if I can ship to her unconfirmed new U.S addy (for $5.95 priority mail) and I told her no but would be happy to ship to her Canada address which is confirmed.

She messages me back mentioning how expensive the shipping is.

I know its HIGH, but its not in my control of what the post office charges!

I wonder if buyers realize its not in sellers control of the shipping charges?

When its time to leave feedback and score on S&H charges...then buyers score us LOW just because S&H was high..but its not in our (sellers) control!

Just a rant...thanks for letting me get it out.

Oh no, I perfectly understand. It's as if buyers think all sellers are overcharging on shipping and making a fortune off of them; the degree to which this is so is absolutely ludicrous. I kept having international buyers wanting such low prices with shipping included for my items, and so insultingly low that I would never even sell to domestic buyers without adding shipping separately. And sometimes they simply don't let you go too, but keep coming back making equally ridiculous offers and bombarding you with idiotic questions. They must think that sellers photosynthesize and so don't need to eat anything, otherwise I simply can't understand.

No worries on the rant. Make sure that you send a copy of the postal receipt. Or use the calculated table on the shipping for international rates. (based upon location).
