Default Item not here yet and no contact from seller

I paid for a wallet off eBay about 11 days ago, its coming from the states so i know it is resonable its not here yet however i buy almost all my stuff from there and all arrive quicker than this, my concern is the seller is completely ignoring me, i have had no contact since i asked her if she would ship to the uk prior to the auction end, to be honest because she has been so rude i begrudge her having my money now, a little petty but this wasn't cheap. Do i wait or file a claim and she if she will respond to me through that?

So, she replied to you, before auction end and said that she would be prepared to ship it to you here, but hasn't responded to you since?

Assuming that's the case and it was supposed to have been sent via a quick method, perhaps filing a dispute now (hopefully, before she can empty her account) would be a good idea?

If it's been sent via a standard, or slower, method (particularly if it's without signature confirmation and/or tracking and/or insurance), perhaps wait a while longer, as maybe she's just a bit touchy and thinks you're being difficult, or (especially if she's an inexperienced seller and isn't aware of how long things can take to get here) that you may just be claiming to have not received it when you, in fact, have?

Thats right, i thought she maybe hadn't sent it yet but that doesn't explain her ignoring me and risking a neg on her perfect feedback, just doesn't make sense.

IsS it possible she went on vacation and does not check her -emails?

Does she have other active sales going on now?

We find some people do not live & die eBay like us, so they do not watch closley.

It's pretty agonizing to wait for things not knowing if they'll ever arrive....

It's possible the method of shipping to you might be very slow... be prepared for it to take a while to get to you. See if she can tell you how it was shipped or give a tracking number.

I spent $30 to ship a handbag First Class International and it took about a month to get to my buyer in Europe. USPS simply stopped tracking once it left the US. The buyer kept in touch with me the whole time and then we agreed she would initiate the PayPal Claim. I was just about to refund her the full amount in good faith not knowing where the heck the bag was when she alerted me she had just received it finally. That was some pretty weird timing!

I spent $30 to ship a handbag First Class International and it took nearly seven weeks to get to my buyer. USPS simply stopped tracking once it left the US. I have to say, the buyer was incredibly patient and very gracious about the whole thing before she initiated the PayPal Claim (which I don't blame her for doing).

I was on pins and needles the entire time wondering what was happening with the shipment but darn, that shipment was too slow for the money the buyer spent to send it.
wow, thats a long time, my issue wasn't with the time as i understand it coming a long way, my issue was with her not responding, today i sent a message giving her till the end of today to contact me before i filed a dispute and funnily enough i've heard from her, strange that........
i'm not a difficult buyer, just don't like being ignored, she does have other sales currently going on and i'm sure she was answering potential buyers questions just as she did when i was one.
