Default Is there a way to re-coup listing fees?

I sold and sent an item on the 4/3. Item never arrived. Buyer was the best. I refunded her. Now I have to file an insurance claim. Is there a way to get the listing/FVF's back? Thanks

btw.. I looked on eBay but couldn't find it or overlooked it. A link would be greatly appreciated!

I think when you contact eBay, there is a selection where you can ask to have a listing fee credit. I remember asking this through live chat a while back.

Just click on the "Contact eBay" link and a bunch of options should be available.

You know - ONE time I had to file a claim with the PO on a lost $11 item. I actually insured it for $15 and when the time came to file, I showed the PO the eBay listing for $11, my eBay and PayPal invoices listing all the fees I paid as well as the original PO shipping price and I got the full $15 back no problem!

Hi,
You can file a non paying bidder report and say that you have mutually agreed not to complete the transaction and the FVF will be granted automatically as soon as the buyer responds.

^^ Thanks I just did that. eBay had contacted me earlier telling me to file that but it seemed wrong. She did pay. They DIDN'T bother explaining that it was the only way to get the fees back and that there was an option for mutual withdrawing. You ROCK!!

Yes, mutual agreement is the way to go. You get your fees back and they don't receive a strike!
