The seller should have the package weight listed on the shipping record. This should match what was received by the buyer. If it doesn't, USPS has some explaining to do and the seller should file a complaint and try to work out what happened from the time the package left their hands to when it reached the buyer. Is that not their responsibility?

Yes, I feel that all sellers should not think that their responsibility ends after shipping out the item.

In this case, the seller ought to co-operate and solve the problem instead of giving up. Since only sellers can file a claim, this is what she ought to do now, or at least make a complaint to USPS and see what they say. If it's an inside job, they can still trace back to the delivery or/and people in charge.

To me this is a very simple situation... either the seller sent the item or not. I don't care which ID LVGodiva used to buy the item, many sellers use different buyer IDs. I don't care that eBay suspended the account due to large purchases. Her paypal account is in Indonesia so of course that's where she would ask the seller to ship.

The bottom line is, did the seller SHIP THE BAG or not? I believe he's been asked repeatedly if he used a box or not, etc... The seller is responsible for making sure the buyer gets the bag. If the buyer says she didnt' get the bag, that's what INSURANCE IS FOR!! The seller should be filing a claim with the Post office instead of attacking the buyer!

Every time I read posts by the seller I think "attacking the victim." I can't help it. If he would try to work towards a solution (ie... contacting the post office, filing an insurance claim, etc...) I would feel a lot better. But every time he posts it's screaming about suspended accounts and shipping to Indonesia. That's over and done, what matters is, what was in the box/envelope.

I haven't read this entire thread yet, but you are DUMB! how does this prove she says she never authorized it? an unauthorized claim on paypal could mean numerous things, no tracking info, never received an item... and it's totally obvious you and beenieweenie are the same person..... honestly our forums do NOT need this drama!!!!

Purrr-lease. Beenieweenie's post is about Hotpicks, the seller.

They are NOT the same person, got nothing to do with each other whatsoever, other than they incidentally found themselves thrown to the 'same side of the fence'. Please read the original (closed) thread.

Beenieweenie is a long-time lurker here, who didn't register until she found she got something to say (and thank her for that). I was a lurker too, for months, before I registered.

Hotpicks found the forum because the buyer directed her here.

I've seen a couple of *trusted & established* members going 'funny' (not only our R-O) - no insinuations here, only I think whether a member is new or old is irrelevant.

caannie is absolutely right- seller, please go to the post office & begin taking the steps to prove your case, it's the only way to clear this up.

As I gather it was the buyer's sister in Colorado(?) who received the envelopes, NOT the buyer. Is the sister trustworthy (I know... no offence!) / does she have flatmates etc. etc. etc.

I'm not siding with the seller here (and no way I'd buy a $$$$ bag from someone with 13 negs), only trying to be objective.

The seller should provide some kind of postal documentation (weight of packet, etc.) - it must be all on the receipt she got from the Post Office.

(Also, it might be a good idea to look up some old threads started by the buyer.)
