Default I saw a bag
on Bonanzle that I am consider getting but the selling insist that I paid Echeck via Paypal so her fee will be less. Am I safe doing that versus paying with my credit card where I can be protect if something when wrong.

NOPE... make sure the you use the credit card w/ PP. PP offers no buyer protection for NON-ebay transactions, so if you have any problems a CC charge back would be your only recourse. Make sure that your CC co will file charge backs.

Strange that she would then suddenly want an echeck, eh?
Make sure that you check seller feedback on toolhaus.org AND search seller name on PF and google, just to see if anything else comes up.

HTH!

If I'm not mistaken, e-checks are a flat fee for processing, whereas other transactions are a percentage of the monies transferred. So, yes, it can be less for the seller if s/he accepts the echeck.

As a buyer, you have no protection. Use your CC in case the transaction does not go well.

No way. Use your cc. A PayFoe e-check works better for the seller but not for the buyer because there's virtually no buyer protection for off-bay transactions.

Bad, bad idea.

CCs are a must on places like Bonanzle, as you have next-to-no Paypal protection for off-eBay purchases.

Yes!!!! ITA!!!!!

Always use a CC.......PP does NOT CARE about you unless you bought it via Ebay.

Yes, they should work like normal credit cards. I would simply have MORE concern with the ability to file a charge back & outcome of the charge back for a PP or Ebay transaction. Especially if I had lost the PP claim and was then filing a charge back. KWIM? I'd just prefer to have a CC that was in no way, shape, or form any connection or affiliation to PP/Ebay.
