I wrote to them last night and received this:

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to your account suspension.

As you know, the eBay User Agreement provides for the suspension or
termination of user accounts, including if we believe you are creating
problems, possible legal liabilities, or acting inconsistently with the
letter or spirit of our policies. While we understand that you may not
agree with the decision to suspend your account, based on an additional
review, we have decided that your account will remain closed.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Darnell

This is unbelievable. Honestly, I hate eBay. I sold an LV Watercolors to someone and they emailed me thinking its fake because she received an email from ebay saying i was suspended. They have no reason at all to do this. I am so pissed off!

I don't blame you for being angry.

Looks like it's time for you to move on and join the mass exodus of eBay sellers going elsewhere.

I am so angry, I just don't understand why. No warning or anything, just suspended! Why do they do this without doing any type of investigations? You look on eBay and there are tons of fakes but those people still get to list!

I'm so sorry you're going through this.

*bay just really doesn't know what's going on. They're kicking out all of the honest sellers and leaving all of the craptastic stuff on there.

It really doesn't sound like you're alone in your treatment, not that it makes it any better, but at least there are others out there who are in your situation too.

It's nice to know that I am not alone, which is why I started a thread. I wanted to know for those that have gotten suspended how long was the suspension for? Is there anything I can do to speed the process up?

^^ I had this happen to me but I was the buyer... eBay suspended the seller (for voicing their opinions). I thought I was getting a fake (because they were suspensed & then their account was closed) & because I didn't receive the item at time.
The item finally arrived, had it checked out (authenticated).
Turned out that it was authentic. Thank God.
So I think that is why your buyer is freaking out.

I also got Suspended a week ago, so yes eBay is really going bad...... I just bought a LV op art bag and puff got suspended, the seller got reluctant to ship me the bag, I paid with my credit card, asking to deliver to my verified adress (in spain we don´t hava a confirmed account) I wont withdraw the funds, and obviously she wont get a chargeback for that since my credit card is mine and nothing stollen, So she asked me why my account was suspended I told her the truth why I got suspended and she was a bit relieved and finally she´s agreing to send me the handbag.... I´ve a new account with evilbay because I still like to get good deals and get to have items I wont be able to find here or If I do they will be far more expensive..... but I think they track your paypal account so I just got a new bank account and everything, and I will have to rebuild my feedback again.... so sad but true.... I hate this and understand from what are you going thru........

^^ Do you have any idea when you will be reinstated? Are you suspended forever? I have close to 200 feedback it will take me forever to build it to that!

I am so sorry to hear this. The fact is that they don't really need a reason to suspend you. They have no legal obligation necessarily to you use their venue.

Another reason why we need an eBay alternative. Sigh !

I am so sorry this has happened to you - I also got the 30 day message when I tried to re-list an LV bag. I queried it and got the usual stock response so I thought OK I will leave it for the 30 days. I then listed and sold a Chloe bag with no problem so I thought it was just the LV that they had the problem with. I then listed another Chloe which they removed after 24 hrs and also removed the Chloe that I sold!

Now I am just totally confused and don't know what I can list and what I can't. My seller dashboard says that I am failing on policy and any more breeches and I will be suspended.

This is so annoying because all my bags are authentic and I really need to sell a few so I can fund new purchases.

I have been a member for 7 years with 1300 + 100% positive feedback.

eBay really stinks at the moment - they should be far more transparent with sellers and tell them exactly what they can & can't do.

what is the 30 day restriction? I am a new seller and have 4 authentic coach items listed, how do you know if you have breeches of policy.

You can only list a certain amount of "Designer" items per month. If you go over your limit when you try and list another item eBay stop you from listing and give you the 30 day warning. Problem is no one seems to know what their individual limits are and Ebay won't tell you.

I was suspended for a few days because they attempted to call me to tell me about their new guidelines and I had the phone number that I listed with them attached to my fax machine so they could not authenticate me any longer and suspended me. I contacted them and after a few emails and phone calls, I was back online. I guess they do this from time to time although I had never actually spoken to somebody before. Just a thought

Friendly warning... if they suspend you don't create a new ID. If they match info they will ban you permanently.
