I won't take her up on that but thought it was a really nice gesture on her behalf! Wiating to hear about my claim with Royal Mail now. Aaaaaaaaaargh.
Try not to worry or think about it anymore.
Royal Mail will send you a letter approximately 30 days ( if you are lucky) after you start the claim to say they are looking into it . They will then go quiet for a least 60 ( unless you are lucky once again). The bag will appear back on your doorstep and a few days after that you will get another letter saying we hope this has resolved your problem !! ( coo , doesn't that sound experienced !!) They have actually never totally lost a bag from me yet . But you do have to be patient .

Sugar ..... STOP PANICING , believe me if there was a problem you would hear instantly . You sent it tracked , it might be unconfirmed but thats one of those things . I would think she just hasn't looked at her messages . I wouldn't send her any more or she might report you to ebay for harrassment !! Quite often people don't say they have received a bag its lovely when they do , but honestly only a small proportion bother .

I sold all my Radley Picture bags too...but I would only sell to a confirmed address as I was worried about a chargeback. If the buyers says she hasn't made the payment, you don't have a leg to stand on.
Saying that I'm sure everything is fine, some people are just really slack at leaving feedback and the percentage of chargebacks are very very small!!

Sorry Jo , its 99.9% chance that you will find it on your doorstep ! It is the most annoying thing ever . You could always try to send it again if the buyer would be willing , most of them are . Keep talkng to her !

^^^ She does seem very nice and must be so disappointed as it's an old season bag and you don't see many on e-bay. Not sure I want the hassle of sending back to South Africa though as as soon as it leaves the uk they can't track it any further and it seems the SA postal service didn't scan the parcel on arrival..........ho hum!

Its just like Australia , waste of space . I would take notice of the reason that will be given by the mail company why it wasn't delivered . If its the address , I wouldn't bother . If they can't find it the first time , they won't be any better the second. If it was not picked up I would try again .

Ok thanks guys! Ill take your advice and stop worrying! I dont know if it was a signed for service.. it was sent by airsure and I made sure the insurance covered me for the cost of the bag... lets see, I guess no news is good news but I just have a bad feeling that she will come back with something horrible a month after she received it. I just dont trust someone that cant even be bothered to confirm they received an expensive bag in the post. Very irresponsible!

When I buy something I do not think the sale is complete until ive left and received feedback. I just think its rude as she knew I was worried about sending it to sweden and I asked her to confirm once received. She hasnt had any other activity on her account since then.. I just dont want her to come back in two weeks and say that she never received the bag etc etc.

I wouldn't worry if I were you. I have sold many items on Ebay and have never had acknowledgement by way of an email or feedback from the buyer. As long as I have proof that it has been delivered then I don't worry anymore about it.

Sometimes,if you are sending out something very expensive,it really is worth taking a couple of pics of the item packaged up,that way if they buyer tries to blame you for damage blah blah blah, you can say it was in perfect condition when you posted it,so it was the handlers or the buyer at fault.I have even had the guy at my post office put 'perfect condition parcel' on the receipt and sign it,so the date and tracking number are there too,and always spend that lil bit extra for signed for, even if your stated postage costs in your auction don't quite cover it,so what, you are'nt going to get slammed for a fraudulent loss by some pig saying they have'nt received it.
I try to overcharge a bit on my potsage if I'm not sure, but assure the buyer any shortfall will go straight back into their PayPal account.

I also, quite retentitively, keep all the post receipts in an evelope, date order, and write all the buyer info on the back of each, labourious, but worth it if something does go tits up on you. xxx

Thanks Chaz! I think the service may have been signed for.. I chose the more expensive option of the two so that i could track the parcel even when it was making its way through sweden! I just hope she responds soon and if she gets back with something awful to say in a few weeks i think i would give her an earful for not contacting me earlier! I have a feeling she has received it though and is just being lazy with ebay as everyone said! fingers crossed! xx
