You are welcome to post the eBay ID here. Did you do a search of the eBay ID to see if any other threads have been posted about this seller?

Yes saldy Jack and Lucie, which I am always on the hunt for ..They so seldom pop up so was sooo excited!! It was the orange jack and white lucie which was a bad thing this round as Lucie showed off all her black stains badly,as did jack and he is orange .How it could have been missed and she said they looked perfect??That is beyond me?? No, how can you look that up--a sellers id on here??

Oh no!!! That would be soooo disappointing. I know that ebay will take care of it, but still, what a bummer!
Hope you find another one, soon!

I saw that listing on ebay and nicely emailed the tPF seller and told her that she might want to change her title to spell Lucie's name correctly so that she would get lots of bids. I normally don't offer helpful selling advice but since she was a tPFer I wanted to help.

Honestly I am wondering if the one she sold was authentic as the enamel finish on the authentic pieces are nearly impossible to mark up. I have never seen them marked up or chipped.

Her listing states, "Here they are in all their glory!!! Louis Vuitton's RARE, Limited Edition - JACK AND LUCY!!! I received this as a gift from my mother-in-law, she bought it from Louis Vuitton in Philadelphia, original receipt will be included, and used it only a handful of times as a bag charm. Along with the stunning Jack and Lucy, you will receive, the original bag, box, dust cover, tag and store receipt. This item is 1000% authentic - I am a member in good standing of tPF. They are in perfect condition, they look absolutely brand new! I will ship this item for $10.00 in the United States, outside the US, shipping charges will depend upon location. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. All sales are final. Thank you for looking!"

Do people give receipts with gifts normally?

Perfect condition?

Look absolutely brand new?

I totally feel your pain. I had a similar experience. After a lot of hassle I was able to get my money back.

I decided from that point on I would only buy from sellers that were well known to tpfers.

I'm sorry to hear that. That's always the issue that holds me back from making purchases online.

I can totally understand what you are going through, in my opinion is when someone can't provide nice clear pictures then it's usually a red flag, know what I mean. There are some people who just don't have a good camera but I go by that rule if I can't see nice clear pictures then I don't by. Someone could say there item is nice or like new but everyone has a different perceptino of whaty they consider good condition or like new.

Good luck with clearing this up!!

You know I wondered that too. They just seemed *off* to me.They were NOT heavy like I expected.I have never held this set before but know all my other lv keychains are heavy and they really were not at all.Even both heads VERY light weight.Trust me if in fact they were not damaged my next step would have sure been to email the auth thread and get them authenticated as they too did not look OR feel right to me either.Yes that was her exact description, plus another thing one person said this set went for like $550 her *so called* receipt only said they sold for like $275 total that included the tax plus the shipping price which said $20?? Many things off with it.Plus the finish was not the shiney enamel like I seen another ended set look like they were more low down matte not super gloss like the set I compared them to.
