Default How to save $$$$ when listing on ebay
Hey everyone, we are all in this forum because we are using ebay right? Well then im sure you all know how $$$ the fees can be to list stuff BUT we can do things to make the fees a bit smaller

for eg When listing an item the first photo is free but after that you need to pay for each pic so why not post pics in the body of your listing for free and save like $0.25 per pic it may not sound like much but it all adds up.

SO everyone please come on in and tell your $$$ saving tips when using ebay this could be fun

I think there are several threads where the steps are explained; I would do a search. It's done by adding the photos' html codes to the text of the listing, and to do that you have to switch from standard mode to html mode when pasting the links to the codes inside the box where you type the listing.

I just paste the photobucket direct links in myself. That way the people browsing aren't scrolling thru huge pics on the listing. Some computers may be too old or slow to process so many pics at once too.

Open a photobucket account. On the left open an album. Say DB AWL DR SATCHEL

Upload photos into that directory.

Select all the photos.

At the bottom are some options. You want the generate html codes (or similar wording).

On the next page, copy and paste the information into the html tab box on your listing.

You can move the photos around anywhere you want. I usually put them at the bottom because it's easier.

Ebay now gives you 5 free listings per month, but after you have used all of them if you donate a minimum of $1 to a non-profit with Ebay Giving Works your listing fee is only 5 cents. This only goes until Nov 15th though.

^^ Those 5 free listings are a total rip-off in FV Fees. They got me once on that, now I just get rid of them.

i totally agree with the 5 free listings... its only good for if your item sells for $25 or over $530.

how do you get rid of them? by listing random stuff and then ending the auction?

How are they a rip-off? Isn't the FVF always 8.75% for auction style listings?
