Okay, so no big deal for most of my items, but good to keep in mind for higher ticket items. Thanks!!

^^^ ok so the 5 free listings are only good if your item sells for less than $25 but for larger items its not a good idea

If you want to use a listing service, I use auctionsplash's software for listing (www.auctionsplash.com). It gives 8 pictures with that supersize and it uploads your pictures directly from your computer, no hosting needed. The templates aren't the best but I use only one or two of the nicest ones anyway. Best thing of all is that the service is free!

You're welcome! It has really saved me a lot of money...then if I do need any more than 8 pics in an auction, I just post a link to my photobucket album with the pics in it. I haven't had any trouble doing it that way when necessary.

^You can only get the listing fee back once (i.e. if you list an item once and it doesn't sell, then you list it again and it DOES sell). If it still doesn't sell after the second listing, then you have to pay for each additional relist.
If you do qualify for the refund, it automatically gets adjusted on your ebay bill.

You're welcome! I know, it isn't really helpful for less popular items that need a few relistings before they sell.

^Probably higher FVF's at the end, they always get you somehow...I got the email about the half priced auction listings from around that same time period.

I don't have any tips on saving money when listing but if you want your item to go for more or with more watchers, bids, etc. Try timing the listing to end on a Sunday or after six when people are home. I always get mine to end before midnight on the east coast too so I get a good crowd. Good luck!
