Exclamation How do I know a Prada Fairy Bag is real?

Hello

I've joined from the UK because I am so disgruntled about the number of fake bags there are on eBay. I am desperate to get hold of a fairy bag - I already own a real Prada but don't know what to look for with regard to the fairy bag?

You guys are all very knowledgeable - can you help me? I am new to this stuff.

just want to add the majority of the ones in UK are fake

if you do find an authentic one...ask the seller if its from the first batch of the fairy bags made coz i believe the color bleeds on the leather if it gets wet...

good luck!

Thank you very much - yes this bag is on eBay. The seller says her husband bought it in Milan but does not have the receipt. She says the feet have 'Prada' stamped on them and she has the authenticity cards.

If you want to pay full price (not sure how desparate you are) it is still available on Prada's website.

There are a few resellers like purse n boots but they charge above retail. Fakes are definitely out there - beware and good luck!

If you see a Prada Fairy bag on eBay, and if it is selling for 75% or less of its retail value, 99% of the time it is going to be fake. Just be careful out there. If I were you, and considering you live in the UK, I would just buy a new one from the Prada website.
