Exclamation How do I combine shipping?

I just bought a couple of things on eBay. But the seller didn't send me an invoice even though I've asked him for it several times. So I've tried clicking "pay now" or whatever it is it says, and it adds $3 for shipping for each item, and the auctions say shipping is $3 no matter how many auctions you win. So my question is how do I recalculate it? I have tried to find a way to do that, but there doesn't seem to be a way to change the total. I'm kind of afraid to just press continue and go on to paypal, if I accidently pay before I get a change to correct the shipping costs. I have also asked the seller for him paypal e-mail address so I can just pay "manually", but he doesn't write back.

You should be able to adjust the shipping amount?

I can't. When I try to pay it lists all the things I haven't paid for yet, and I have to uncheck the stuff I bought from other sellers and then click "update amount" or whatever it says. Then it adds $3 shipping for each item, and there's no way to adjust it.

The seller has it set up so that only he is allowed to make changes. Sometimes, the combined shipping discount shows up after you click on "continue". If you are taken into PayPal and the amount shown is NOT the combined shipping amount, but the full amount, you have two choices. You can either go ahead and pay the full amount and request a refund from the seller, or you can log out of P/P without paying and wait for the seller to respond.

Thanks, I'll try that. I was just a bit scared of clicking "continue" if I accidently paid in the next step.

Don't be scared to press continue, because it'll only take you to the PayPal payment screen. Once you click PAY NOW, then yes, it will put the payment through.

You can always back out of the payment page. Have you heard anything from the seller yet?

No nothing since Tuesday. I have checked his activity on eBay and I can see he has been online after that. So it would be nice if he could just send me the freaking invoice.

If he has anything else for sale, ask for your invoice through an active auction of his. He may still not answer, but I would bet you that he will at least read it.

I just sold multiple items on eBay to one person and it was hard to get them all on one invoice to combine the shipping. It took me 4 or 5 times to get a correct invoice to the buyer. That is one thing ebay needs to improve on from a sellers standpoint.
