So far my high bidder is located in the Ukraine. She also has zero feedback and even though I stated in my auction text that bidders with less than 10 feedbacks need to contact me first - she didn't/hasn't. (which annoys me).

That aside should I be concerned about her location (or any other bidders located in the same place). In terms of scams, etc. I listed my auction as "world wide" since I wanted to attract more bidders - but I didn't think of the Ukraine when I did.

Not hating on the Ukraine here - just looking for advice as I've never sold outside of UK/France, etc.

That's a bit scary. Personally, i would be a bit scared of Ukrainian mail service/customs, in addition to the 0 feedback bidder. If you do send, I recommend you use FedEx or some "express" service where the person has to sign?

^^No, auction is still running - so I don't even know if they'll win yet - although I have another bidder that keeps bidding and the Ukraine bidder keeps topping them. Which is great for the auction, but I'm wondering if I should void them anyway since they didn't contact me first (like I required in my text) and I'm wary of the Ukraine.....

advice?

This is scary:

The capital of eBay fraud is in....Romania?!

I think I should cancel and block her... What do you think?

If it were my auction and a high dollar item, I'd probably cancel and block. It could be a real person behind the account who wants to pay and have a normal transaction, but it very well could be otherwise. At least the auction isn't over and you are stuck!

^^Should I contact them first (even though I asked them to contact me) or just do it?

p.s. If someone with 0 feedback wins (and doesn't contact me like I asked) can I void the auction?

So I cancelled ALL my zero bidder's. It dropped my price $200.00 but it's just not worth it to me to risk a 0 feedback bidder(s) that don't contact me first like I ask for in my auction.

sigh. Hope I did the right thing.

No offence but you sound quite ignorant not to mention extremely offensive towards eastern Europeans. If she has 0 feedback and you specified that under 10 must contact you first then cancel the bid. Simple. No need to go on and on about the buyer being from the Ukraine, regardless, the bidder didn't comply with your rules.

^^As I said: I asked ALL bidder to contact me that have less than 10 feedbacks. I canceled ALL 3 bidder who did not contact me:

1) from the Ukraine
1) from Germany
1) from the USA

Hope that makes you feel better.

bellamoda, how can you put "no offence" and "you sound quite ignorant" in the same sentence ???
beauxgoris is only trying to protect herself, i would be wary too .

^^Thank you ladyisobel , I found the statement to be pretty rude - but oh well.

As I stated I cancelled 3 bids at great loss to my profit - it's what I stated I would do in my auction body text, and what I feel is fair to buyers that are bidding in good faith on my auction.

Hopefully I won't get more zero bidders that don't contact me. Don't get me wrong - I don't mind people with less than 10 feedback bidding. I just ask that that contact me (or respond when I try to contact them) first.

I don' think there's anything wrong with that.
