Default Help w/Forms of Payment from Italy

Hi All,

Someone from Italy won my auction. They are now telling me after the fact that they can not pay by paypal and is asking me how they can pay?

I can not think of anything but Western Union, if so, what info do I need to give them?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Bank Transfer is the best way. Be glad its not Paypal (saves you money and hassle) and dont forget to ship via Express Mail or Fedex. The Italian postal system is absolutely horrid.

Good luck !

You need to provide them with the SWIFT code (call your bank for that) and your account number.

Western Union is safe for seller because all your buyer need are your full name and address only. With BAnk Wire, you need to provide them your bank account #, bank name, home address and bank swift code.

A lot of members from Europe don't have Paypal- it's not as commonplace. I usually do Western Union or Moneygram payment and deduct the portin from their price that it would have cost me to receive a Paypal payment, so they are not on the hook for the whole money transfer fee. Works great!

Bank to bank wire transfer. Don't accept Paypal at all! Ship EMS so you can track and sig is required.
Cheers,
