Default Has anyone else noticed a "wait time" before listings appear?

I was FINALLY allowed to move a handbag from my store to a fixed price listing. It is showing up as a listing in My eBay, but nowhere to be found when I do a search. Has anyone else noticed this? I know it can take up to 8 hours for a vehicle to be searchable in Ebay Motors - but I've never noticed a wait time for my regular listings.

My Chanel bags have always taken at least 10 hours to show up, and I think the average now is more like 12-14 hours. That's why I always do my auctions in advance and schedule them to start at a particular time.

It is not uncommon for them to take 12 hours or more to show up. That's why it's best to list them at around 7 or 8pm. That way they will be search able the next morning.

That is much too long. We know they are not authenticating. What are they doing during that 12-hour period?

ITA. It is WAAAAYYYYY too long! If they are going to take that long to post the listings they should start the clock for the listing duration from when they actually post it. I had a few listings that took almost 24 hours to show up in the search. Losing a whole day on a 5-day listing, or even a 7-day listing is totally unfair. I think it's totally unethical that we are paying for a listing of a certain duration and not getting it!

This is why I create every handbag listing the day BEFORE I want it to start. I schedule the auction to begin the next night, which costs 10 cents, and it always begins right on time and is searchable immediately. I want my money's worth of exposure to buyers.
