(guess who's never seen Nappa leather before then ?) .
Though a long-time past gift, I actually found the credit card statement it was shown on & emailed her to say (a) I'd got that & (b) the store would confirm sale & (c) Hubby just wouldn't buy a fake any way -didn't convince her , so I re-funded & re-homed her with another bidder who was totally delighted.
Fortunately for me, the 1st buyer did not leave bad feedback (more tellingly, never pursued the "fake" thing, which confirmed my suspicion of "buyers remorse") but it was heart breaking (the bag was special after all) & with so many actual "fakes" on the listings, very annoying. xH

Thank you for your comment. It is difficult to go through such an experience. However, the goal of this thread, is to document specific items, that have been wrongly identified as fake, or it's implied that they are fake. All items posted to the thread, need to have the photographs still visible on eBay at the time of posting. As per usual purseforum protocols, members cannot post references to their own listings, but may comment, if one of their listings is specifically questioned. Good luck with your future transactions.
