Default fake's on ebay - when did this start?

I reported on eBay's purse forum bored about a fake Chanel bag. I entered my post 3 times, because for some reason it wasn't showing up. Well ebay was removing my post. Not only did they remove my post, they suspended me from being able to post on their boards for a week. When did this start?!? I thought it was okay to point out fakes. Anyhow, I reported this listing to ebay several times..after days of the listing running, it ended up selling for 1500.00. I e-mailed the buyer and just told her fyi, you bought a fake. UNREAL!

you might want to be careful about emailing buyers, if they report you to eBay you could get suspended for auction interference

That is weird. Did you mention the seller's name on the boards of this particular fake? If you did, maybe they don't like you specifically defaming the seller. IDK.

I know about e-mailing the seller. I asked for them to please not use my member id. I have 2 eBay user id's one for buying and one for selling. I e-mailed them off my smaller selling account..but I know still scarey. Poor person who go this set! I didn't use the sellers name, but did post the ebay auction number. I have seen this done many times in the past. Ebay must not want proof out on the boards showing someone was reporting it and they still didn't pull it down.

The rule there is you can only use the auction title and only in the body of the post. If you put the auction number in the title of the post, that was what did it for you. And you have to put something like "I was wondering...is this real" for it to comply with the rules. They've really taken to enforcing them on that board thanks to my trolls.

I don't think I put it in the heading. But I did put in title FAKE CHANEL. I hope I don't get in trouble for this, I was just trying to help a poor victim who just got burnt on 1500.00

It sucks, but know you can't flat out say that a bag is fake. Lame, I know.

Yeah, it probably got pulled because you flat out said it was fake. Instead you have to say "I think it is probably fake." LOL, naughty naughty you for telling the truth!

If they had time to remove her post they had time to remove the listing.

When you see that kind of stuff, go to the designer forum of the bag in question and post it in the "Post fakess here" threads. I know that the Chanel board, at least, is active enough that if it gets posted in there, it's usually gone within a couple of hours because so many people report it to eBay.

Like $40. The fvf is a sliding scale and the higher the sale price the lower the percentage of the fee.
