The first thing you need to do is change your seller preferences. From 'My Ebay' page, click on the 'Seller Preferences' link on the left hand side of the page. Once you are on the 'seller pref' page, click on 'buyer requirements'. It will give you a few options - click 'edit'. You can then choose to block buyers with a feedback of a certain number or lower. Put 5 in the box, and then check the box. What I am not sure of is if this is applied in retrospect or not.

Once you have done this, you can cancel the bid that is causing problems. If you click on the bids, there is then a link 'see how to cancel bids if you want to'. Follow the directions & hopefully it will be sorted!

Finally, you may wish to revise your listing to say 'if you have less than 5 feedback score, please contact me before bidding' or something similar, to alert people that they cannot bid.

Hope this helps!

That box gives the option of -1,-2 or -3. You cannot put in your own number.

Most sellers put a blurb in their auctions about people with less than 5 FB must contact the seller, reserving the right to cancel bids if they don't.

In the past week alone I have had great new ebayers with 2 or less feedbacks, all 4 of them paid immediately and all believe it or not had confirmed addresses. On the other hand I have had to file 3 non-paying disputes for ebayers with 30+ transactions, one with over 400 feedbacks.
I just block bidders with non paid item strikes. Good luck & remember we all had to start somewhere.

most of the best buyers I have had turned out to only have zero to 5 feedbacks, like Westiegirl said, they pay quickly as they are trying to get established on Ebay. Give them a chance at least, remember, we all started out at Zero, and we were given the chance as well. Worst thing that can happen is having to relist the item, and that usually generates a greater revenue for some reason.
