I don't know whether this needs its own thread or not. Just wanted some opinions. I moved back in Sept. I changed my addresses with ebay and paypal. Have bought some items since the move. They have come to my house fine. Today I bought a bag (low end) and I paid with PayPal. I looked at the email receipt that Paypal sent me and it was my old address. I quickly emailed the seller. Informed them of the situation. Seller messages back and says, sorry can not ship until address changes. Well that is fine, there is nothing else I can do.
What is wrong?? Why does keep defaulting to my old address? I deleted my old address from paypal and made sure my new address was set to primary. Just to make sure. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Thanks for the advice! |

And then talk to the seller. You may have to cancel the transaction and re-buy in order for the new address to show up on her PP transaction page. If you have MORE questions, want more input, please just start a new thread here on the ebay forum. |

It's that time of year again! The post office is starting to "lose" packages. I'm waiting for them to find something of mine that was supposed to have arrived 2 days ago, and it shows "delivered". So far I haven't actually had a lost package, just a "misdirected" package, so I hope this is the same, and ends well.

^^ yes I know! We definitely have to insure AND ask for sig conf now. The holiday shipping season is already here.
As for my package, I bought the item from an online store. I just have to wait until a certain date, and if it isn't found by then, I get a refund. But the store did not insure the item. It wasn't even shipped Priority, which may be part of the issue (I've never had an issue with PM- knock on wood). It did have DC on it, but that's all. |

Hi everyone -- I've got LOTS of reading to do to catch up. Right now I just popped in to say DH & I went on a DATE last night (if you knew us, you'd know why that was worth mentioning -- we are the most boring people in the world!) I was so thrilled I put on makeup and earrings and perfume. (We live WAY out in the sticks, where dressing up is clean jeans and a pressed shirt.)
Off to read and catch up on this thread. |

Hi everybody!!!! Boring (i.e. great) Sat. night. Cooked dinner and am now going to watch Russell Crowe in "State of Play." I love these Saturdays that are very low key...all kids farmed out, no pressing engagements.

Thought I would give you tpfers a laugh - I listed a la petite salope corset top on e-bay with lots of pics of the top and one pic of dita von tesse in a corset as an illustration. I just got an email from a male ebayer from france who obviously doesnt want to buy the top but thinks the pic of dita is me - lol!
Here's the message I recieved as a question from buyer: 'Hello do you have some others photos of you with for me in France ?...Sweet' |
