PRINT OUT EVERYTHING THAT HE/ THEY HAVE SENT YOU. Sorry but that is very importain, you also need t o have headers on it, from the email. You also need to file a report with both your police and get on the phone and file one with theirs. I wish you only luck, and good fortune in this. Go get these horrible scammers. Also you may want to post something online with their username on it, so it comes up in a search engine, asking if there are others that they have done this to. The more they have the better can work the case. Also you need to be able to back up EVERYTHING that you tell the police. So have all the papers ready.
Good Luck!

I actually was looking at the same bag from this seller a few days ago.
I also messaged her for shipping in Canada and she replied with the following:

Hi, Caviar Leather.

I certainly can provide you with photos of the Auth card and Hologram. Please give me your email address and Ill send them over to you.

Fully insured shipping is $30. A tracking number will be provided.

Would you like to make us an offer to buy it now?

If you give me your cell number I can call you and we can arrange a price for the bag if your keen to buy it now?

Regards

- janette8036

which was exactly the same as what menopausalmama recieved from her..

Luckily I got help authenticating this bag from our fabulous Chanel ladies here on tPF and flagged me about this seller.

I hope you can get ur $$ back :(
The thing I don't understand is if she is really up for scamming ppl why would she use an account with so many feedbacks?
Maybe the situation is as bad as we think? I hope for your sakes!

I'm sorry you have to deal with this horrible UK seller. I can't believe ebay still havn't done anything about it. They're rubbish!
I hope you get the situation resolved soon - have the FBI said anything? They should be getting in touch with Scotland Yard to shut down this fraudster
And to think there are some genuine tPF members selling on ebay and they get a lot of problems
I feel for you

i am so sorry to hear this! definitely report it to your local police with all documentation. my fingers are crossed and please do update here with the outcome!!! ebay should not allow such scamming to go on. i don't think they're doing very well too. they laid off so many people in vancouver and relocating to toronto.

Wow, over 400 plus positive feedback? How's that if he's a big scammer? Does he have xxx plus negative feedback as well?

^^ If you investigate the positive feedback, it's all for relatively small amounts of money. A clever trick if you're hoping to encourage people to bid and then run away with all of their money! I am very sceptical of this seller!

There's been a lot of authenticating requests on the Chanel sub-forum for this scammer, janette8036 and the ladies also mentioned that the seller pushed the issue of buying his/her purse outside of Ebay. I think this is the reason why the guy doesn't have any negative feedback and no one could report him because he scammed people outside of Ebay. His feedback history has no designer handbags, just a bunch of cheap stuff. I hope no one else gets scammed cuz it's a lot of money.

I bought 3 Chanel Bags from janette8036 and received them all perfectly. This was 6 months ago however but I would have no issue at all in dealing with them again. I think some people jump to conclusions very fast. One item was even awol in the mail and an insurance claim was made on their part and I was returned $2400 even though I only paid around $1600.

^^ People are making their conclusions, polaka, based on the facts that they read. I don't consider that they are jumping to any unfair conclusions. It's good to hear that you appear to have had positive dealings with this seller but other buyers clearly haven't. We should be supportive of those buyers.

well polaka31 is also known on this thread HELP! I just got a fake! as the seller that sold a fake Chanel 2.55 flap with stolen pictures from another tPF member. polaka31 is also from the UK but later claimed to have moved to Australia and also encouraged his/her buyers to do transactions outside of Ebay. Sounds familiar anyone?

Good point! thanks for the heads up!

sounds suspect to me.......JMHO
When buying, you really need to go beyond just doing your "homework". I guess using a CC thru PP, you will be able to do a chargeback, if the seller is a fraud.
