DO NOT post anyone's personal info on this site again please.

He'll say that his reviews on ebay speak for themselves, but do a google and you'll find its very easy to rack up or fake positive reviews.

In my case, I foolishly transferred money to him by Western Union. He will insist on Western Union and will refuse to take Paypal. I suggest that you contact him to tell him to refund you whatever you've paid or you will report him to Ebay and the UK police. He is very scared of someone blowing his cover. He returned me most of my money after I threatened to take all necessary action to expose him. I don't think you're the only one he has scammed and he should be taken out of circulation permanently.
Hi All,

Please be careful this 2 sellers from UK. i think they are different name but same seller. I bough 1 Chanel bag from Kellyt80 but i never recieve the bag.

The question that is asked on that auction seems a bit phony

^^The seller has stolen pics from another sellers listing...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=120382868997

which makes me think that the other pics are stolen too.

Default Cheated on ebay for Chanel 2.55 by janette8036 aka, what to do??
I'm so stupid should have done my research before I paid!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=180362573270

I saw this item and i bidded on the item, and my bidding was canceled because the seller said that my positive feedback was insufficient for the bidding, and they have lost a lot of money for people not paying. He asked me via email to make an offer, and I said $1xxx, which he accepted. He then called me on the phone and said paypal charges a lot of fees and asked me to pay by Western Union. Then he emailed me the Western Union info and I sent him the money. He said he would cancel the auction on ebay and send the item. For 2 days the auction was still going on, and I emailed him multiple times that it does not sound right but he said ebay is slow in canceling the auction. He had really 400 + positive feedback that's why i trusted him

Finally the item was sold to someone else, and he reassured me that he has multiple items and he has already sent the same item and gave me a tracking number. Then I saw the same item going up on ebay again: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...%3D4%26ps%3D10

I realized this is a fraud and I search on the internet and found that many people are victimized by this person. He stole pics from other people and send fake items. I asked him to accept my return and refund the money since he promised that he will accept return within 14 days, and he was giving me excuses and still saying he's not a fraud. It's a fake and it's my life savings. I have all the email communications and I have receipt of the Western Union transfer.

I'm very devastated and dunno what to do? He said he would accept the item once its received, but i really doubt that since he refused to give me his shipping address, plus even if i do return it, i don't know if he will really pay me back. He cheated me and now since the transaction is done outside ebay i have no protection...It's my lifesaving and wanted to buy myself a gift after a really shitty year and now this happened...please help if u have any advice or if u have the same experience...thanks!

They have not got any feedback for selling bags, sep high end ones like these before, maybe you need to call the local police dept, there are those that will help you if you explain what happen, and offer to fax COPIES of the info to them.
Good Luck!

Hello greenvalley! I really feel bad for you, that is alot of money. Check this website, www.fakechecks.org in their faq i've read this and I think it applies to your situation:
10. Why do the scammers want cash to be sent using a money transfer service?

Because it is fast. The money is often available to them within minutes. That means the victim may not be able to stop the payment before it’s received. Since the money is usually picked up in cash and in person, it may be impossible to find the crook and get it back. Some scammers are also instructing victims to send cash using a delivery service. If you suspect you’ve been scammed, contact the money transfer service or delivery service you used immediately. It may be possible to stop the crook from getting the money if it hasn’t been picked up yet.

I also found this on fakechecks.org
https://secure.nclforms.org/nficweb/nfic.htm

Please explore the site hopefully it can help you.

Good Luck!

None of their recent feedback reflects any handbag purchases...
I don't know how much recourse you'll have as you went outside all the proper channels. His feedback was positive because he's not scamming the actual eBay buyers.
I hate to sound like I'm lecturing, but in the future, please be more careful with your money - especially if it is your life savings.

Please i totally agree I was under a lot of pressure and it was a lapse of judgement. and a big lesson. Thanks for the comment I will definitely learn form it.

I called Western Union and all they can do is file a report, and the guy told me he's probably using a fake ID to pick up the money, but they do work with FBI and hopefully something can come out of it... and i have to call to cops which i have to wait till i can the "authentic bag" that he claims gets here...Right now I really think he's not going to refund or just trick me with excuses, since he refuses to provide shipping address. Even if i return the package unopened I feel that he could still say something was wrong and refuses to refund...I should probably go to the cops right away...

can u guys give me some pointers about what's the next step i should take? try to return or go to police straight away?

Thank you so much for your help...

greenvalley- I would suggest you file a police report ASAP. depending on the dollar amount it may be considered grand larceny or theft which would be a felony vs. a lower charge, which may be taken more seriously by authorities. I would probably let the guy know that you are taking that action and tell him you would be willing to discuss the charges if he returns your money right away. all the best!!!

This is very worrying. Janette8036 still has 2 Chanel bags for sale. One of these was ostensibly 'sold' a few days ago, but reappears at almost the same time as the previous auction finished. Very strange! So sorry that this has happened to you, greenvalley. Please keep us informed of how you get on. Best wishes.
