This person bought shoes from me- after a few days I e-mailed to make sure she still wanted them, no answer. Then another day went by and I explained that I hadn't heard back and would be re-listing the shoes as per my auction details, but that if she was away for some reason and decided she wanted them within the next week, I'd of course end the relisted auction and send her the shoes. She of course responded then and got hostile...told me she had 7 days to pay as per ebay and that the reason she did not pay and did not have to pay is that I never sent her an invoice- my auctions automatically send them, and I sent a second one myself on the 3rd day...

Long story short, she asked to have them sent to an unconfirmed address and when I said no, she immediately went and left bad feedback and e-mailed me accusing me of a scam (not sure what she meant by that...) and refused to do a cancel transaction.

THEN- she bid on EVERY AUCTION i had- i was able to cancel bids and block.

tuhreesa -

made an offer on my BINOB auction. Emailed to say she's not paying because she doesn't like the fact that I buy and sell things frequently...

Please Add this one to your list of buyer regret/feedback blackmail:

slinkymyler

item #:270440195799

On the day item was received, claimed bad fake bag (Botkier Marcel), wouldn't "report" me or leave a neg fb on ebay, if she could return it. I had to dig, but finally found the receipts. Told her I had receipts and would gladly send a copy, but no. Instead she escalates a NSAD with paypal. Paypal is now reviewing and are aware of my receipts. Hope this headache ends soon in my favor. Not holding my breath with paypal though.

Hi! I usually just read here. But I had to register to let you know about a another non payer.

Please block: jhjhany1206

Take a look at how much was not paid for. And the FB they leave for others!

They left some FB for other sellers recently, so I guess Ebay is still letting them go on............

I love the smilies, BTW!

Ugh!! Why are all those sellers building her feedback. Eventually, all the comments will be buried and lost and anyone who glances at the feedback will just see the green +. I refuse to help a bad buyer build her feedback numbers.

I do agree that she's probably using a stolen credit card. Check out the bidding history:

I think that most are leaving that FB to warn others about that Ebayer. How else do you warn others???? At least it's something, KWIM?

I don't get why she is STILL on! How does she still have an account open? I thought Ebay took unpaid item strikes 'very seriously'?

~ FYI- If any of you have International Bidders blocked - she has an American PayPal address!

I never thought about it being a stolen credit card, BeenBurned. I kinda thought that she buys stuff, and has it shipped to her country by someone else. But that's just my opine. Maybe, she then resells that stuff in her country?

^^ I don't know what's worse, the fact that that buyer is still allowed on eBay (it's possible most of those sellers never even dealt with giving the buyer a strike) or that if the buyer were smart enough every one of those positive comments could be removed for being a conflicting rating. This is a prime example why the current feedback system does not work- there's always deadbeats like this who exploit it (amongst many other types of buyers).

That is one helluva lot of items bid on!

Wow I never knew there was a way for strangers to look up what someone has bid & paid for.

What business is it of theirs? I tried it with my own ID & it works.

see post #490

Generally it doesn't matter. But it's a good way for sellers to check suspicious buyers.

About 2 years ago, I had a buyer (became a member 3 days earlier) who bought 4 of my items, made immediate payment and had an unconfirmed shipping address.

At that time, there was no seller protection if you shipped to an unconfirmed address so I checked the seller's bidding history, planning to ask other sellers how they handled this buyer.

In the 3 days of his membership, this buyer had done BINs on 4 pages worth of Ipods, Playstations and other expensive electronics equipment -- to the tune of about $10K.

Clearly he was using a stolen credit card but by the time the rightful c.c. owners would have realized the activity on the cards, the buyer would have received all the items and the ebay sellers would have been hit with chargebacks and been out the money and out the items.

I contacted as many as ebay would allow and told them to check the buying history and don't ship right away.

Within a few days, the person racked up about 15 negs from charged back sellers. But quite a few other sellers were saved from loss because of the ability to check bidding history.
