Arghhhh!! You just remined me of another pet peeve of mine! I state in my ebay listings that the only form of payment accepted is PayPal, but never knew about the "e checks" until a buyer used one to pay for an expensive item I sold. The bag was over 5k ( Hermes birkin) and once the sale was made I was really anxious for the $$. The buyer requested to make a down payment of $1500 and then pay the rest in 4 days. Normally I don't do that, but decided to make an exception. She paid the down payment via PayPal, no problem. On the 4th day she paid the balance with an "e- check" ( without letting me know) and it took over 10 days for it to clear. I really hadn't wanted to wait almost 2 weeks for my $$ and I had other interested buyers who could have paid sooner. I had timed the end of the auction so that I could complete the sale and ship the bag before going out of town. I ended up putting my trip off 2 days because of the delay. Now I ask anyone who intends to pay with an "e-check" to contact me before bidding, but there is really no way of preventing that form of payment. I will also never again accept partial payment. I don't know what would have happened if she had changed her mind and requested the down payment back. Does anyone know if the seller has any recourse in a case like that?

Made a best offer on my Valentino Garavani bag, then never paid. No response to messages, etc. Has purchased other items since mine, so she's around, just not paying/responding.

BUYER HAS 921 POSITIVE FEEDBACK, so non-payment was quite a surprise.

So rude to not respond, seriously. How annoying.

Bidded and won my Christian Louboutin auction, emailed me and said she wanted shipping waived because she was picking up locally; didn't pay after 9 days from auction, then emailed me and questioned authenticity one week and a half after winning bid; previously she had never emailed me with questions. Her feedback shows that she has bidded and won many items but never paid other sellers as well.

New buyer with only 3 feedbacks total, 2 of which are from 2001 & 2002. Bought 3 bags in the last month, 2 of which she demanded to return to the Powersellers. The one bag she decided to keep, she had a complaint in her feedback for the seller.

Haggles on shipping fee, then makes up excuses to return bags by making up lies about flaws that SHE CANNOT PROVE! Says she'll take pictures to show the flaws, then finds MORE excuses: can't find camera, borrows camera from friend but flaw doesn't SHOW UP in the photo (maybe cause there is NO FLAWS and this is a buyer's remorse?). Demands RETURN or DISCOUNT.

Sounds like someone who can't afford to keep what she buys, has buyer's remorse, finds BS excuses to return items and abuses Ebay and Powersellers in the process, threatening to open up disputes, which Paypal ALWAYS sides with buyers on SNAD disputes.

WASTE OF TIME.

I thought we'd have a thread of buyers who are difficult somewhere.

I have an ID to share that I would highly recommend everyone to block! Looks like 90% of their feedback left for sellers are neutrals and negatives.

Its one of those hard to please buyers!

Complaining about color, shipping, sizing, and just about anything else they can think of to not give a positive.

no response for a week until i filed an NPB.
i even lowered shipping to half of what is clearly stated in the auction.
still never paid after another week...

no response other than "i hope you cancel the transaction as i regret buying this" - god, i HATE flaky ebayers!!!

there is this bidder that just never pays for the sunglasses she won :( waited for two weeks and I filed the unpaid case yesterday. she won this leather jacket I was selling before and ended up saying things like "her paypal funds was frozen." I let her got away last time with a mutual agreement of dropping the bid but, THIS TIME SHE DOES NOT EVEN RESPOND TO ANY OF THE KIND REMINDERS I sent. geez.

I bet she won't respond at all. I checked her eBay scores and seems like she has been selling and buying things these days still, so I really dont get why she does't reply!

Is there a way to block certain eBay IDs from buying my items? I don't trust this buyer anymore and I don't want to even give her a chance to bid on my items. WASTE OF TIME FOR SERIOUS.

sent me an BEST OFFER, then emailed me asking if the bag was ever treated. when i told her it wasn't, she then sent me another email asking me to "disregard" her offer as she has changed her mind. when i reminded her of the rules of ebay, she sent me another email saying she would not pay and that "what comes around goes around" if i do not let her out of her bid.

i told her i was going to report her for violating ebay rules, then she threatened to report me! i said go right ahead...

she has 150 positive feedbacks. i was looking forward to giving her a well deserved NPB but would rather sell to a nice friendly ebayer than a DB like her

Item # 260404356800

She bid and won the Chanel Cambon bag, then after the end of the auction she started bargaining with me over S&H fee, and also requested that I declare value of 250 dollars instead of $611 to save her money on customs fees. I said that I will not declare lesser value, since the item would be under insured and in case of a loss I would be on the hook. I suggested that if she wants she can pay via Western Union and then I would do anything she wants. She simply replied verbatum:

"hi
Since i dont have the time to pick up the parcel from the custom office, lets do a mutual withdrawal agreement. I will work with u to get back your final value fee. Thanks

- jerichowall007"

So, she did me a "favor" and agreed to cancel transaction. She brags about her 100% feedback, but buyers nowdays all have 100% feedbacks, anyway I suggest avoid her, as she will extort extra favors after the end of the auction and basically I don't think there is a good way to punish her. In a meantime she ruined my auction.

Sorry, I forgot to add: She is from Singapore, so she argued about the cost of shipping, somehow she expected it to be 22 dollars in a flat rate box (You couldn't ship it to New York for that kind of money), and then the whole thing about customs etc.

BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK!

major buyers remorse, and made up all sorts of stories and could not even get her story straight, not the brightest as well, altogether a horrid experience, I'm just glad I got my bag back.

Submitted a Best Offer, I accepted it after 24 hrs. She refused to pay, saying she had already gone out & bought a brand new one (wouldve cost 2x my auction price). Not cool.
