She has six positive feedback. She PM'd me after auction ended and asked me to relist item. I did. She did BIN and asked if she could pay five days after item closed. Being as cool as I am, I said yes. It's now been 11 days and after three emails, she has failed to respond to any of them. |

Please don't forget to post the item number that goes along with the non-paying bidders!

kamajadze, item 170233630271. Has 7 positive feedback (and has received at least one positive rating since my auction ended). Tried contacting her several times, but never got a response.
funnyface-mary, item 170228140494. Has 0 feedback, but I don't know if you can block bidders who don't have any feedback. Won the item, didn't respond to an invoice, and when I contacted her, she said she didn't know how to tell me she was no longer interested in the item. Total waste of time. centurytelbidder, item 170221674393. Has only 2 feedback, but both were positive. Contacted me right after the auction ended and told me she was going to send a money order. Didn't respond to any of my emails, and I never received any money order. vlocchi, item 170223554414. To be fair, she wasn't a non-paying bidder, but this was the absolute worst eBay experience I've ever had with anyone, and from several of her feedback comments, it seems like I wasn't the only one. Before the auction ended, she stated that she had an issue with my shipping policy (she thought it was too high, even though I actually ended up LOSING money on shipping when all was said and done), but once I explained it to her, she bid on it, leading me to believe that she no longer had a problem with it. After the item ended and I had shipped it off, however, she sent me several emails a day, all arguing with me over shipping. She even argued with me over the shipping cost of other items that she had no intention of bidding on! I finally got fed up with her taking up most of my inbox and suggested as nicely as I could that she should refrain from bidding on items if she has an issue with the seller's policy and that she would waste less of everyone's time in the process. So she left me neutral feedback because apparently I was a bitch. She has a lot of positive ratings, but the negative ones are all instances in which she bid on an item and then tried to haggle with the seller after the auction ended. I would recommend not accepting any bids from her because it's just not worth the time wasted answering frivolous questions or the risk to your feedback score. |

She actually paid last week and apologized for not checking her email. So I want to correct this post. She DID end up paying over two weeks later, so I will let you be the judge... ![]() |

So sick of non-paying bidders. My last non-paying bidder - tika_rotti - item# 260260225368 - only contacted me after an UNPAID ITEM DISPUTE was started and said "will pay monday". Surprise, surprise monday came & went and still no payment or contact. I tried emailing and sms'ing, to give her a chance to pay in case she forgot and even spoke to her flatmate but she didn't pay or reply.
Have offered the item to the 2nd bidder but as we all know by the time you give up on the original winning bidder any other bidders have usually gone & bought elsewhere. But you never know I could be lucky. If not will list again..we may only lose the listing fee but... My suggestion for eBay is if they don't want to give the seller to have the chance to state honestly what has happened in the sale (or non-sale as the case may be) then ebay, once a UNPAID ITEM DISPUTE has closed due to non-payment, should put the message (with negative feedback) "NON-PAYING BIDDER for item #...". Nothing personal, just the facts. It would help other sellers be aware of buyers who don't complete the sale. Anyway that's my beef...I do have other non-paying buyers with much the same story - but only one is still on eBay - leanne_smith8787 for item #26024313588. No contact or payment. I guess we just have to remember the good buyers outweigh the bad buyers...still hard though! |

shorelady48 #280225626828. Won item then asked if it would be OK to pay on June 1st.
I said no problem (but 2 weeks to pay $99.00 ...red flag!) then I emailed her June 7th, and got no response. (She eventually did get a strike )But block this time waster |

I also just checked a user on toolhaus, and it gave me the invalid user message too. They are active and registered, so why would it do that?

Just won an unpaid item dispute against lamami334 for item number 150274797849, a Chanel bag. (Bummer too because with selling limits, it's the only bag of value eBay let me list.) Within about 5 minutes of the auction closing she emailed asking me to ship to an alternate, unconfirmed address in another state. I told her this would not be possible, that to have eBay seller protection that I only ship directly to buyers. I suggested that she personally ship to her "friend" after she paid for and received the bag. She never responded. I filed the dispute and she did respond that she would pay for the bag, but never did. She got an unpaid strike and I got my listing fees refunded.

mnhunter05 #150270680787--never responded at all; was for a Coach ring and received an unpaying bidder strike
reveries21 #150276254341--asked for my e-mail to send me a paypal payment after a few days of not responding to my e-mails, even though I had already sent an invoice and he/she and then never responded, or paid, after that; was for a Marc Jacobs wallet and received an unpaying bidder strike Last edited by sara_g; Aug 16th, 2008 at 05:27 AM. |

Does it seem that eBay has more NPB now than ever? Especially after they changed the feedback policy early on this year, when sellers can no longer give negative feedback to buyer. I am speaking out of personal experience.
My most recent auction: item# 110272391693 buyer id handbaglocco962 ![]() Sent 3 invoices in a period of 2 weeks, initially received a messages about she is getting a large check, will be cleared soon to have the fund to pay. Then she responded after 3rd invoice and told me that she is in a mess of $3000 bad check and mentioned nothing of her action of what to do with her binding contract. During all these time she is been bidding on numerous items. It's obvious that she isn't in that bad of situation to keep her from bidding and buying. Finally, I suggested mutual agreement, she probably waited for me to say so, and she won't look like a remorse buyer. Just had another buyer with 0 feedback used BIN on my auction, sent an invoice and have not heard anything. Checked out her bidding history, she won another item exactly like mine. I started wonder if she will pay or not. I have a few more unpaid transactions this year after the change of eBay feedback policy those can't be viewed. I guess those people (NPB) really taking advantage of the change. Why can't people just be honest? Is lying will get them far in life? My husband is sick and tired of dealing with eBay buyers, he gave up on it already. Can anyone else suggest another venue for selling thing? Thanks so much for hearing me out. |

Bid on and won my auction for a Derek Lam dress about 4 days ago, hasn't responded to invoice or contact - however she has been online bidding on winning and paying for other items as recently as Aug. 17th. ![]()
