I just tried some test auctions to see what I could and could not post. It blocked me on LV, Dior, Chanel, & Gucci. It seemed to let me through for Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Burberry, & Coach. What have others experienced? Is it the same ban on certain designers or different from account to account?

I wasn't placed on restriction until I tried to lower the BIN price on a used pair of Chanel shoes. That triggered the restriction letter that pops up.

The shoes are still listed, eBay didn't remove them, nor did they remove the new pair of Chanel shoes I also have listed in my store.

My restriction is supposed to be 30 days.

Got blocked when I tried to revise a Coach listing. Was told there is a number of listings limit too .. but the rep. couldn't tell me (not allowed to tell) what the number is. She definitely said a revision counts just like a listing. So DON"T REVISE. Phone gal said she could not lift restriction; I have to wait for whoever gets emails. She said they are backed up on that. (Yes you knew that!)

*sigh* It really makes it hard to do business planning when you have no idea what you can and cannot list and when or if you can list it!

I am sure the ban is the same for everyone regarding brands. Some sellers are not restricted, some have had their restrictions lifted, and others have to wait until the 30-day period is up. But the particular brands seem to remain the same for each of us. I sell mostly Chanel and I know that is high on their list.

Hermes is being banned, too. It's scarves for me, but probably everything.

I just tried listing a Balenciaga Brief (which I finally got myself to part with) and it triggered a 30-day restriction. It's horrible considering my Balenciagas are the only bags I am trying to sell at the moment. Argh.

I emailed customer service and hope that they will lift it. 30 days is insane!

Sorry to have to ask, but what's this about a label band?
I was thinking of selling some Balenciaga and LV, but now I don't know if I should wait

I think it's safe to say that all major brands are in the banned list.

So you cant list any big brands like Chanel rightnow, but you can look them up? Is there a reason major brands are being banned? Im very confused!

Oh nevermind. Just saw the 30 day rule thread.
