^^^For some reason, when certain sellers attempt to list certain designer brands, a notice pops up on page 2 of the sell form telling you that you cannot list your item and to please not attempt to relist the item for 30 days. It restricts most high end designer brands, but strangely, some people can list specific brands that others cannot. There is really no rhyme or reason at this point and that is why we are all freaking out! We are assuming it is the fallout from the LVMH lawsuit in France. In addition, on some days, you can list one item from a brand that was previously prohibited for your account even though it has been less than 30 days. Totally confused now? Join the club!

It happened to me and they refused to lift my restrictions for some mysterious reason. I've been restricted from: Chanel, YSL (argh!! I finally decided to part with my bag and I still have a y-mail clutch to sell!!), Bottega Veneta, Versace, and probably a few more. :( I've had to move my stuff to my own store elsewhere.

But I am so lost because why is it that there are still sooo many Louis Vuitton listings up and many are by relatively new sellers!!! I saw one seller with 2 feedback selling a 2000$ LV Suhali! and what guarantee do ppl have that after 30 days we will be able to list these items again?

Ok, I am afraid I got it wrong. First time when I tried to submit the revision, it said I could not relist THIS item for 30 days; then the second time when I tried to submit the revision, it said I could not do lists for 30 days. I have thought I got completely suspended because I tried twice. But now it seems that my restriction got lifted.

I just went through this today and I am soooo frustrated . I tried to list an authentic LV Epi agenda with refills. Great condition. Still have the tags. It didn't sell this week, so I tried to relist it. They said there is a limit on what I can sell. WHAT??? It is all very insulting. But I know that it is a case of CYA. Still makes me mad because I could REALLY use the money

yup. this happened to me as well. I was able to relist one of my LVs before the 30 days was up but when I went in to revise a detail, it would not let me submit the revision and took the whole auction down again! Meanwhile, I was able to find a few fake LVs being successfully listed yet my real bag can't be posted? I am so frustrated with them!

I know, that is the killer! There are still fakes across all designer brands from a bunch of 3 feedback sellers! WHAT is eBay thinking? What is the point of following Ebay rules for 8 long years, having perfect feedback, and then not being able to list? And to add insult to injury, I just listed a piece of antique cast iron and I got some message that due to my "limited transaction history" on Ebay, they might hold my funds until I received positive feedback or until some unspecified amount of time has passed... huh??? I am starting to think that Ebay really does want to become Amazon 2.0 and is trying to run individual sellers off... I think I will go on Ebay adult section and start selling old shoes and used panties Get your freak flag flyin' with eBay!

was just listing a pair of used gucci shoes:

You can not submit your listing due to the following problems
Attention Seller:Thank you for choosing eBay.
In order to help maintain a safe trading environment, selling limits are occasionally placed on listings. At this time, you are limited as to the listing of certain items. Please do not attempt to relist this item for 30 days.
Sellers who have built a long-standing and consistent positive history of selling such items may be eligible to have these limits raised. If you believe that you would qualify and would like eBay to review your limits, please email us at Customer Support.
We sincerely value you as a member of our trading Community and look forward to a continued successful relationship with you.

Okay, I'm totally confused.

I'm not an active member of eBay but have listed an auction for a Miu Miu on a friend's behalf.

I'm hoping to list one of my BNWT Prada purses today. Does this mean that I would trigger a ban and my Miu Miu auction would be taken down?

I'm not a reseller. Like many of you, I could do with some extra money from bags that are just sitting in my closet unused.

All this ban stuff is freaking me out.
