You will be protected. This happened to be before as a buyer, tracking said it was delivered, but I never received the item. Not sure what happened to it, but Paypal closed my claim in the sellers favor because they provided a tracking number that stated I had received it.

A situation like that scares me to the point that I only do signature confirmation for my items.

There's nothing you can do if the status shows as delivered and the buyer is claiming she didn't get it. She needs to go to her local Post Office and inquiry about the package. As to PayFoe, your coverage depends on whether or not the transaction was eligible for seller protection.

I think you'll be fine here, paypal will see that it says delivered, the buyer will have to do some digging, or buy another toothbrush !

Agree with Ladyisobel, tell her to trace it from her end (the post office that says it was delivered)

Cool. Then you should be covered provided you shipped the item in a timely manner and have proof of delivery.

As I mentioned earlier, the buyer needs to contact her Post Office. Someone has that toothbrush...

Let her know that her package was delivered. Perhaps it was an attempted delivery

and she missed the notice. Forward whatever info you can to her and ask her to

check her end as well. If you have time of delivery that could help you as well as

her.

I've posted this story before in other similar topics but...
I had the same thing happen in the situation where I was the buyer. I contacted the seller to let them know of the situation and that I would ask at my PO about it...went in with my address and the tracking number and they searched for it. Turns out, it was put in a neighbor's mail box rather than mine (we have a large communal mailbox for the whole neighborhood). Luckily, they hadn't gotten their mail yet, so the next day, my postal person apologized and delivered my package to my door.

So I agree, the buyer needs to take her address and tracking number to her PO so they can figure out what happened to it.

Lol if it was anything more than a toothbrush scammer bells would be going off in my head!!!! But it is probably more the case of they left it with somebody else or they will redeliver, thats happened to me before, took some digging and knocking on doors before I finally found the person who had my item!!

The thing is that i sent it out since september 10 and tracking says it was delivered on the 12. so i am barely hearing from her until today which i think is kind of odd. why would you wait 12 days before emailing the seller to ask what happen to the item. if i didnt get my item within 6 days, i would be emailing the seller to ask where my item is. what i think happen was that yesterday i updated the shipping status on that transaction and ebay sent her an automatic email saying your item shipped on the 21st but i just updated my ebay page until now, does not mean i just sent it out...
