this type situation just happened to me. i won the paypal claim because i have delivery confirmation showing 'delivered'. i did buy insurance, even though it was a low-value item (under $100) and the buyer is now working on an insurance claim because they determined post office screwed up.

what can i do as a seller other than help him with the claim, which is what i've been doing.
