Buyer not picking up item from P.O. box?

I sent buyer her item this past Sat. with insurance and sig. confirm. I sent to her P.O. Box since that was her PayPal confirmed address - however when I check the tracking # it says that the item arrived on Mon. but she still has not signed for it.

What does this mean and what happens if she doesn't sign for it? Could this be a scam of any sort, or is my buyer just lazy? If I had a $500. item waiting at my P.O. i'd be there pronto to pick it up.

Thoughts?

maybe she's busy? i say give it a few more days :)

im not sure if the same policy applies to PO boxes...coz post offices have a policy that if an item is unclaimed within 30 days they send it back to shipper :)

Hi, I live in the country & have a PO box. It is very possible this buyer does not drive the 10-30 minutes to her PO box more than once each week. Sometimes I am 10 days between visits. It is a hassle to drive into another town too often when it is only a 5 minute errand.

Just my experience.

Same here and to add to that, my P.O. is only open from 9-12 & 2-4 when I worked it was sometimes darn near impossible for me to pick up a package.

I doubt it is a scam, if you are worried you can send her a friendly email letting her know that it is at the p.o waiting.

Wait for the weekend. My PO is only open during work hours, so if I have to go and pick something up, I'm limited to Saturday morning.

I emailed her a nice email just saying that it was delivered earlier this week and I hope she enjoys it - hopefully she pick it up tomorrow!
