Does anyone know what happens if an international buyer doesn't pick up her package from customs? I sent a pair of Marni shoes to Germany on June 21st and they have been ready to be picked up since July 2nd. The buyer was so excited about the purchase, I am really surprised she hasn't picked them up. It has been about 2 weeks now that they have been holding them for her. How long will they continue to hold them? Then what happens if they come back? What do I do if that happens? I have emailed the buyer to let her know her shoes have arrived and that I hope she is okay and has simply just been very busy. I am very new to international shipping so I appreciate any advice you can offer!
I don't know what the chances are of this happening, but please disregard my post! After I emailed the buyer, she sent me a lovely note back that she has just been really busy, but she just made it to pick up the shoes today! That was a wonderfully happy ending! Thank you very much, as you are always so helpful, and please feel free to reply for others in case this happens to them but their buyer does not pick up, but in my case, I no longer need assistance with this exact issue.
